Hi, I’m jasmine spacher (SHE/HER) cd(chb), CLC I graduated in 1999 from The National Holistic Institute in Emeryville, CA with a certificate in Massage Therapy and Health Education. While attending school I worked with autistic children, both one on one as well as homeschooling autistic children, utilizing music and movement therapy during the home school sessions. I have been attending births for clients and friends since 2002, completing my first doula training through DONA with Debra-Pascali Bonaro (Orgasmic Birth) in 2009. I attended the Assistant Midwifery program at The Farm with Ina May Gaskin and other Farm midwives, and completed my Watsu (water shiatsu) training with Joanne Santana there at The Farm in Summertown, TN. I re-certified with Carriage House Birth in June 2012 because I fell in love with the philosophy and curriculum they had compiled. In 2014, wanting to be able to support my clients more fully in postpartum, I became a Certified Lactation Counselor. I bring education, support, understanding, strength and positivity to each birth. I draw from all of my experience using reflexology, music & movement, spinning babies, massage, visualization among other therapies to foster relaxation and strength through each stage of labor. I am a certified postpartum doula, lactation counselor, mother, and designer. I was born in NYC and grew up between Brooklyn and Honolulu, where my parents met. Surrounded by natural beauty in Hawaii, I became really interested in plants and studied the ways they're used as natural medicine in indigenous cultures. I dove further into holistic wellness and lived in an ashram in India, where I obtained my yoga teaching certification. It became clear to me that one can be healed by connecting the mind and body with nature. I love to create nourishing meals that incorporate healing herbs to nurture the body into a balanced state of well-being. After I birthed my son, I really understood the challenges in postpartum and importance of supporting and honoring new parents in their special journey. I feel empowered to help postpartum families through one of the biggest transitions of their lives, to make them feel supported and provide resources in areas where they may feel uninformed. When my sister had her IVF NICU twins I had the honor of supporting her through the postpartum process. Witnessing the transformation of my sister’s hope into reality was one of the most profound experiences of my life. Hey there, I’m Kelley Nazarian and I grew up in Montclair, New Jersey. Currently, I reside in Bloomfield, New Jersey with my husband, two children, and our dog. I hold a Bachelors's degree from William Paterson University. I am a certified Postpartum ProDoula, an Infant Feeding Specialist, and a Reiki healer. I carry insurance and I am CPR-certified. As a postpartum doula and a mother myself, my focus is on getting to know my clients well so I can offer the best birth and after-birth services possible for both first-time moms and those who are having their second or third child. Each pregnancy is different. Some moms recover real quick, some moms need time to recover and recharge. This is where I come in.
