Hi, I’m Colleen Anderson! As a Full-Spectrum Doula, Newborn Care Provider, Lactation Consultant, and founder of Colleen's Birth & Lactation Support, my passion is helping parents feel confident, supported and empowered throughout their journey into parenthood. Every family deserves care that meets them where they are whether that’s guidance through labor, support with breastfeeding, or practical advice for life with a newborn. Placenta Encapsulation Package
Safe, professional preparation of your placenta into capsules to gently support postpartum recovery. This service is not covered by insurance (private pay only). Results vary and benefits are based on traditional use, not FDA-evaluated. Reach out for more information and booking details.

Birth Doula Package
Includes: 2 prenatal visits, labor support and 2 postpartum visits. These rates apply to private pay clients who are paying out of pocket. For Medicaid clients, there is no out-of-pocket cost for covered doula services. Coverage depends on your specific plan, so please book a consultation to review what is included under your insurance (NJ Medicaid, Horizon NJ Health, WellCare/Wellpoint, Aetna Better Health and UnitedHealthcare Community Plan).

Postpartum Doula Support
This package is designed to nurture the whole family during the early weeks at home. Care includes newborn care guidance, feeding support, emotional check-ins and help with family adjustment. I also provide light household assistance, like simple meal prep or tidying main spaces so you can focus on healing and bonding with your baby. Services require a minimum of 3 days per week, with shifts starting at 4 hours.

As an expecting mom, Colleen has been with me every step of the way. She is very attentive to my concerns and personalize my care to fit my needs. Being a high risk mom she goes above and beyond to make sure I am knowledgeable about my condition and helps me make informed decisions for my birth plan. She is very straight forward, and gives the most accurate advice with her line of expertise. I am truly grateful that I have her as my Doula. She is always a phone call, text or email away.
