Because of this, I'm looking for someone who is experienced in caring for newborns and can provide both compassionate care for our baby and helpful support during my recovery. Our ideal candidate has at least three years of professional experience with newborns, is knowledgeable about infant sleep routines and gentle sleep training, and holds current, verifiable Infant CPR and First Aid certifications. We value someone who is patient, nurturing, reliable, calm under pressure, communicates well, and genuinely enjoys helping families during this special time. Hello, I plan on giving birth in Kendall hospital. I plan on having a natural birth. I want someone to help and support me during labor. I want a doula that understands what I want and don’t want during the labor. I also would prefer someone experimented that can go along well with my husband and my mom.

First-time mom planning a natural, unmedicated birth at Natural BirthWorks. I’m looking for a doula who can support me during labor and birth, especially with comfort measures, positioning, breathing, emotional support, and helping my husband support me as well. Since I’ll likely be discharged from the birth center about 4 hours after delivery, I’m also very interested in postpartum support that day/evening once we get home, to help with the transition, newborn care, breastfeeding, meals/hydration, and recovery. I’d love to find someone who can support us through both the birth and those first hours at home.
