My birthing center requires to hire a doula for first timers, not sure how expensive that is, someone on the holistic side that understands how we want to parent and advocate for us.

My name is Michaela and I am 32 weeks pregnant, due November 9th, and currently looking for a doula. My main reason in wanting a doula is that this is my second pregnancy (May 2024) and I very much want a VBAC, so having a doula that is experienced with VBACs is important to me. I am also African American and we have higher chances of c-sections, preterm births and mortality rates so it is important that everyone on my birth team understands that and helps advocate for me and my baby. I will be delivering at Texas Health HEB and budget is roughly $1500 or less, especially since I have limited time left. First pregnancy and im having twins, i would like to have them naturally but the doctors are already talking about inducing me at 32 or 34 weeks possible c section i am only 29 weeks, i currently have medicaid . The hospital i will be giving birth at is Harris hospital, at the moment i dont have much of a birth plan except i do know i want delayed cord clamping

At home birth un medicated natural no budget most experienced

Hospital. * Estimated budget: I’m looking for a multi-week postpartum package and am flexible about the number of hours/days per week depending on the package and rate. * Describe your birth plan: Planning a hospital delivery. My main requirement is postpartum support after coming home, rather than labor/birth support. * Requirements for the provider: Prefer an Indian postpartum doula, if available, or someone familiar with Indian postpartum traditions and food. I would prefer someone experienced with newborns and first-time mothers. Postpartum doula certification/newborn-care training and infant CPR/first-aid knowledge are preferred. An Indian language is a plus but not mandatory. * Details about care recipients: First-time mother and newborn baby. I’m looking for someone who can help me recover after delivery while teaching/guiding me with newborn care, diapering, soothing, bathing, safe sleep, and establishing a routine. I would also like breastfeeding/feeding support and guidance, as needed. * Additional duties: Primarily mother and newborn care. Light baby-related duties such as washing/sterilizing bottles and pump parts, baby laundry, and keeping the baby’s area organized would be helpful. Light cooking/meal preparation, especially Indian postpartum meals, would be a big plus. I’m not looking for heavy house cleaning.

Doula for hospital birth (medicated vaginal delivery is the goal)

I am a first time mother looking for support on what to expect before/during/after delivery. I plan to deliver at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, where I actually work as a nurse. This is also my boyfriend’s first child and I want him to feel supported and know how to support me too. Ideally, we would want vaginal delivery but I am diabetic and know that babies may be larger, so I am not entirely against a c-section if that is the safest option. I do plan on having an epidural regardless but would like to incorporate other pain relief methods. I would like to create a calm environment in the delivery room. I also plan to breast feed post-birth.

I am unsure of what I need. I am still trying to figure this out. I'll revisit the budget and stuff soon.

I plan to give birth a the hospital. I am covered by Tricare Prime TriWest for a doula. I have no interest in paying out-of-pocket. Please only respond if you are accepting Tricare prime. I want to discuss a birthing plan because I am new to all of this.

Looking for an experienced doula for a December due date

In search of a doula that will come to my home during active labor to offer support as I would be a VBAC and so I want to labor at home as long as possible before going to the TX health Mansfield hospital. Doula would come to hospital with me too!

My husband and I are looking for a doula to help in building our birth plan, help in labor and stick to our plan in the hospital.
