Jen was an integral part of my positive birth experience. I delivered in a hospital on week 37 and Jen was ready to provide the utmost care - showing up with a great attitude and the exact energy I needed, she suggested some options to support a smoother labor relevant to each phase I was going through and including my partner as per my wishes. I think my favorite type of support was Jen advocating for me from the second she stepped into the hospital room until she left, making sure the staff were aware and applying my birth consent form and preferences. I am especially and forever grateful for her support during the pushing phase, where her confidence, presence, experience and empathy literally got me through the toughest moment of my life.

Jen has been an invaluable resource to our family during the newborn phase with her Night Doula services. We hired Jen to help us with our first baby. As immigrants in Toronto, we had no family support and after meeting Jen we knew she was the perfect person to help us through our pregnancy and (most importantly) post-partum. Jen was a wonderful support throughout the pregnancy, and even when COVID hit and the world turned upside down, she was there for us every step of the way. Unfortunately, she couldn’t be there for the birth of our daughter, (due to restrictions at our hospital) but she was always at the end of a FaceTime call or text, day or night.
