Hello, wonderful community members! 🌸 I'm delighted to introduce myself as a trained Doula on the path to certification. My name is Josette, and I'm here to offer my services to support you during your incredible journey into parenthood. As a mother and Brooklyn native I am committed to providing compassionate and personalized care to families in our vibrant community. With a focus on emotional well-being, childbirth education, and women empowerment. Additionally, I offer nesting services where I assist in prepping for your new bundle of joy, ensuring your home is a warm and welcoming environment for your growing family. Service introduction

Birth Support: Phone and email consultations between 8am-9pm Monday through Thursday–until 36 weeks. 24/7 on-call from 36 weeks until you deliver. During labor I will support you physically and emotionally. I will encourage you and your support person/partner in upholding your birth preferences, asking questions and providing information to assist your decision-making process. I will assist with your immediate postpartum needs, can take photos and will remain through Magic Hour (2hrs post birth). Postpartum Support: I am currently offering evening* visits from 6pm-9pm and weekend visits from 8am-8pm. Each 2-3 hour visit can take any form. Support you in your emotional and physical recovery. Assist with breast/bottle feeding. Caring for baby while you engage in self care, maintain your spiritual practice or connect with your partner or family. I can run errands, prepare meals, offer evidence-based resources, etc. Prenatal Visits Include: Over 2 prenatal meetings we will cover: birthing preferences, creating a birth plan, pain management techniques, birth bag checklist, in-home visit to aid in preparing your home, referrals for alternative therapies, if needed, and evidence based resources from my doula community.
