My experience includes surrogacy, teen pregnancy, vbac, medicated & natural birth. Aa the parent of 4 young adults, I am comfortable and experienced in birth center, hospital and home birth, provided you are in the care of a provider. Complimentary introduction via Zoom/Virtual support throughout the prenatal period/Education & emotional support, referrals, resources and lending materials/Constant support in labor/Postpartum in-person visit to support feeding method of choice. Price is for NJ births. NYC is higher.

Postpartum Support

I offer my clients a variety of options for postpartum care: Early bird or sunrise from 6am-10am, Day Support from 8am-4pm, Overnight support (higher rate) from 8pm-6am

Bereavement Support

Support for you and your partner if you are experiencing a complicated birth due to birth defect, anticipated loss, or loss before delivery.

Research has proven a statistical likelihood that families who entrust a doula to their care will experience more satisfaction, a shorter recovery, and deeper feeling of support throughout the relationship. If you want a a doula to support your family, including grandparents or children in the home, it is wise to find your doula!

When should you find a doula?

The answer is very personal. If you find a doula you like, you should book her. Financing is almost always an option, and communication helps work out wrinkles. If you are approaching your due date, it's not too late. Message me to see if I have availability. If I do not, I will help you find someone.

What are fertility benefits?

Please ask your HR department if you have this added benefit. These are not part of your medical insurance - they are an added benefit that your employer chooses to offer to cover services like IVF, Egg retrieval and doulas. Some may cover placenta encapsulation. Make an appointment to sit down with HR and ask for a print out of the benefits if you find that your company offers them. You will need to follow the criteria outlined to choose your doula, making reimbursement seamless.

What should I know about cooperative (back-up) doulas?

Doulas exist in a world of unknowns - when will our clients have their babies, what if we get sick, what if we have two clients in a labor at once? When you meet a doula, ask if you can meet the cooperative doula that will be available to you in the event your selected doula cannot be there. I support a few other doulas in my area as a cooperative (back-up) doula because I only take one birth a month. These experiences have always been good, because doulas tend to align themselves with people who are like they are. Ask your doula about their professional circle.
