About me

My name is Kadian Hutchinson, a former teacher and aupair from the beautiful island of Jamaica. I am a gentle, caring, nurturing and understanding individual who practices patience, kindness, honesty and compassion. I am a certified newborn specialist, postpartum doula, sleep specialist, multiple and preemie specialist with over 13 years experience in newborn care. I am fully vaccinated against Covid, Whooping cough, influenza, hepatitis and MMR. Additionally I have acquired certification in basic lactation management, infant mental health, Early Brain Development | Attachment and Bonding, Pediatric CPR and First Aide from American Heart Association. As a Newborn Care Specialist/ Postpartum Doula, I provide vital personalized support to parents in the comfort of their home. My passion lies in offering guidance and instruction to parents during the first few months of their baby’s life. From creating schedules to addressing feeding, sleep, reflux, colic, and other non-medical newborn challenges, I'm there to assist and build parents confidence while supporting their values and beliefs. I am very reliable, professional and responsible. I use my knowledge and expertise to ensure that I give the best care possible. My training, love for my job and my experience makes me an ideal person to care for your newborn (s).
