This gathering is non-medical and peer-led — a place to share your experience, listen to others who understand, and simply be met with compassion rather than advice. No two journeys look the same, and there's no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with. Light refreshments will be provided. Katia was my postpartum doula. She was so kind and truly made my postpartum experience. Postpartum is a difficult time, and having someone who was there for me was so beneficial. If you need a postpartum doula in the Los Angeles/ South Bay area I highly recommend Katia. She still checks in on me to this day and I am so happy we had her support with our first baby!

I’ve known Katia for several years and have always been impressed by her compassion, professionalism, and genuine commitment to helping others. She brings a calm and supportive presence to every interaction and approaches people with empathy and care. Her nursing background, combined with her dedication to supporting families through fertility and postpartum journeys, makes her uniquely qualified for this work. I have no doubt that the families she serves through Hope To Haven will feel supported, respected, and cared for every step of the way.

Katia is absolutely amazing! She helped me navigate the ups and downs of fertility treatments with such grace and expertise. She helped me stay calm during an extremely stressful time by ensuring I had the best action plan for me. She was always available to review and help me understand the complex protocols so I could feel confident and prepared. I am beyond grateful to have a beautiful baby boy now and Katia has continued to be a wonderful resource and support throughout the newborn stage. She has a calming presence and is extremely knowledgeable and confident with new babies. I feel so fortunate to have Katia as I transitioned from TTC all the way through postpartum and I can’t recommend her enough. I truly believe my experience was as positive as it was because of her. Thank you for everything!

Katia provided such a calm and supportive presence during a really overwhelming time. She is incredibly knowledgeable as a nurse, but what stood out most was how cared for and understood I felt. She took the time to listen, answer questions, and offer guidance in a way that felt reassuring and never overwhelming. I truly felt like I wasn’t alone in the process. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for support during their fertility or postpartum journey. Can't recommend her enough!
