My wife is due on 9/28/2026 with our first child. A baby girl. Sadly, I have to go in for a major surgery on 9/3 that cannot wait. I will need 6 weeks to recover and we are not sure when the baby will come and how much help we will need once we are home. I would like a woman, someone who speaks good english and someone who can assist my wife and myself while we are getting through a tough time for the both of us. I will not be able to lift anything more than 10 lbs for 6 weeks post surgery. Any additional cooking, help around the house would be greatly needed and appreciated.

I’m looking for a doula and birth coach in the Issaquah, WA area. Hospital birth at birthing center in Issaquah. Budget is $1500. Certified doula, FSA compatible if possible. No specific medical needs.

Birth location: Swedish Issaquah Would like to try an unmedicated birth but not against pain medications if pain becomes unbearable or there is risk to me or baby. I would really like hydrotherapy + to give birth in a kneeling / hands and knees position if possible.

I’m considering home birth and birth center options. Secondary option is Overlake hospital. I prefer least amount of medical intervention as possible.

My OB says there is a 20% chance she'll be in the room for delivery, apparently that's average. I want someone in the room who is there to uphold my wishes and birth plan. I want a natural birth. I funny want to clamp the cord until it spots pulsing. I'm on the fence about vitamin k. I don't want my baby to be bathed right away, or taken from me. I don't consent to the eye treatment they put on baby, or any vaccines. I need to know there is someone advocating for these choices, and am looking for someone to help me bring our baby into the world who will respect my faith and those choices

I would like a calm, supportive environment and would prefer to keep interventions to what is medically necessary. My priority is a safe delivery and healthy baby. I would also like support with breastfeeding and newborn care after delivery. I am looking for someone who is experienced in newborn and infant care, reliable, patient, gentle, and comfortable supporting a mother and baby after birth. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Previous newborn or postpartum experience is important
