About me

It began in 2003 when I became certified with DONA International. Since then, I’ve had the immense privilege of witnessing countless births, each one a unique and awe-inspiring miracle. Whether at home or in the hospital, I’ve been by families’ sides, offering support and encouragement every step of the way. But my passion for all things birth goes even deeper. In 2004, I became a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, and in 2008, a Certified Lactation Educator and Counselor. And in 2007, I experienced the profound joy of giving birth to my own beautiful daughter, supported by two incredible doulas who showed me the true meaning of strength and compassion. I believe with all my heart that every woman—every birthing person—holds an incredible power within. Pregnancy and birth are normal, natural processes, and when we understand our innate abilities, we can embrace these experiences with confidence and joy. Over the years, I’ve been honored to support families through first, second, and third births; natural and medicated births; and those tender early postpartum days when breastfeeding journeys begin. I’m here to offer evidence-based information, a listening ear, and a steady hand to hold. My goal is to help you make informed choices that feel right for you and your family.

My approach to doula care is rooted in deep respect for the birthing process and a belief in the innate wisdom of the birthing body. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where families feel heard, valued, and empowered to make informed decisions. Preparing for childbirth is an incredible journey, and knowledge is your greatest power. Our childbirth classes are designed to equip you with the information, tools, and confidence you need to navigate labor and birth with assurance and joy. Whether you prefer the intimacy of a private lesson or the camaraderie of a group setting, we offer options to suit your learning style and preferences.

Birth Doula Package
Two Prenatal Meetings: We’ll connect to discuss your birth vision, create a personalized birth plan, explore comfort measures and pain management options, and address any questions or concerns you may have. Continuous Labor Support: We’ll be by your side throughout your labor, providing emotional encouragement, physical comfort measures (such as massage, counterpressure, and positioning), and informational support. Immediate Postpartum Care: We’ll provide a 1-hour postpartum visit after your baby arrives, where we’ll check in on you and your little one, offer breastfeeding support, and help you process your birth experience In-Home Postpartum Visit: Within three weeks of your baby’s arrival, we’ll come to your home for a visit. We’ll assess you and your baby’s well-being, provide breastfeeding assistance, and discuss any questions or concerns you may have. On-Call Availability: We’ll be on call for you starting two weeks before your estimated due date, ensuring we are available to support you when labor begins. Lending Library: Access to our collection of books and resources on pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Medicaid Coverage: Doula support is now available to all pregnant, birthing, and postpartum Medicaid members in New York State, completely free of charge. * 50% deposit secures your spot on my calendar. (not required for Medicaid Paid Plan) * Remaining balance due 2 weeks before your estimated due date. (not required for Medicaid Paid Plan) * We offer discounts for repeat families and when bundling multiple services.
