We really couldn't have asked for a more compassionate, kind, and supportive doula! From the very first meeting, Kirsten was very helpful and informative, all while so friendly and easy to talk to. She was always available via text if we had questions in between meetings, and she really helped us feel prepared for the big day! Even before the birth, she had already helped so much! When it came time for my labor and birth, Kirsten was truly invaluable and so supportive! I would not have had the amazing birth experience that I did without her there to guide and support us! I look back on my unmedicated hospital birth so fondly and a large part of that is because of her.My husband and I can't recommend her services enough. Thank you so much Kirsten!

Kirsten has a true gift for this work. She has the perfect combination of gentle compassion, knowledge of labor and birth, and confidence, which made me and my husband both feel at-ease from the beginning. The coaching and encouragement started from our first meeting, as I was coping with movement restrictions. As our due date approached, I had prodormal labor for two weeks, during which Kirsten was always available for encouragement and ideas via text. When labor finally did start, it was still sporadic, and Kirsten helped us keep things moving along and more regular. We labored at home as long as possible, which was absolutely the key to having an unmedicated birth at the hospital. Kirsten coached my husband on how to support me, which led to the most beautiful connection and low-stress labor for both of us. When we arrived at the hospital, even the nurse commended Kirsten and said we arrived at the perfect time. I was ready to push, and our beautiful baby girl was born within the hour. Kirsten’s support was essential, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Kirsten played a crucial part to our birth story & we genuinely believe the birth of our son was as beautiful as it was because we had her by our side. I had set a goal to deliver at our hospital naturally and was recommended to have a doula there to support me. When I met with Kirsten, I knew instantly she’d be the right fit. We worked together to create my detailed birth plan, went through ways to best prepare for labor & discussed possible scenarios that we may walk through, so there would be few surprises. She was easy to get a hold of & a great resource to ask questions or run things by as we waited for our baby to come. When the day finally arrived, Kirsten had the most calming & reassuring presence. Her expertise allowed me to labor at home for significantly longer than what we would have done on our own, keeping me in a calming space & progressing naturally. One of the greatest resources she provided was guiding my husband in ways to best support me, so he could be as hands on as possible, making it a beautiful shared experience for us. Kirsten’s care & support was priceless. Now when I share my birth story with friends & family, many women ask me for Kirsten’s contact information! She’s truly the best.
