Hello, my name is Linda Gomez. Im a 47 yo mother of 12 and I might be pregnant. If I AM pregnant, I don't want a hospital birth. I've always want a natural, at home, water birth. I have Anthem BCBS insurance, and I might qualify for medicaid as well. Of course, I won't know for sure until I find out that I AM pregnant, and then apply for the medicaid. I just want to know if I can even GET a midwife to see me. With my last 3 pregnancies I was considered a high risk pregnancy, I had gestational diabetes with 2 of those pregnancies and lower iron levels with my last pregnancy. They also induced labor for my last pregnancy because they were worried that she was going to be a big baby. She was a little bit more than 8 pounds. My biggest baby was 8lbs 13oz. My smallest was 6½ pounds (but there were 2 of them at once). I have one set of fraternal twins (both boys). 4 girls and 8 boys all together, and my youngest child is 19½ months old. I'm still breastfeeding her too. And I haven't had a period since we conceived her. I think I might be pregnant because my uterus feels tight and full, and I can feel it getting tighter when I am on a long walk. My cravings are all over the place too. And I went from 197 to 209 recently. I took a pregnancy test last week and IT was a negative. So I'm going to take another one tomorrow morning. I really hope, (if I am pregnant) that I CAN see a midwife instead of going to the hospital again. I never did like doctors and the way they treat me like I don't even know my own body. Plus I bet a midwife knows more effective ways to have a healthy pregnancy with minimal to no complications. Up until my 8th or ninth child I had a good metabolism and could loose the baby weight in a few short months, even with my twin pregnancy. But then I had my 8th or 9th child and after him I couldn't loose the weight anymore. It might have something to do with my meds. I am taking 2 medications for anxiety and bipolar (I think). One's olanzapine (20mg) once a day, and the other is sertraline (50mg) once a day. I'm also taking vitamins. A prenatal (1 a day),VH probiotics and prebiotics plus cranberry (2 a day), a vitamin B complex (2 a day), vitamin D3 (250 mcg, 1 a day), magnesium (400mg. 1 a day), zinc (50mg, 1 a day), vitamin C (1000mg, 2 a day), liquid iodine (150mg, 3 drops a day) and Amazing Grass as well. Any how that's all I'm taking. The closest I ever got to a natural birth was with my 10 child. I almost had her in the hospital bathroom while changing into my hospital gown. I had her ruffly 20 minutes after I arrived at the hospital and about five minutes after I got into the bed. She was born still inside her amniotic sack. And that was the easiest birth I had ever experienced. No IV, no pain meds, no pitocin, no doctor, just a bunch of nurses, trying to get me ready. But I was already ready. Anyways if there is a midwife out there reading this that thinks I am a good candidate for a home birth (again....if I AM pregnant) I would love to know what my options are. This is our first baby, planning on a natural birth budget maybe 200$. Right now we are thinking about stormont vail for hospital.

I am wanting to have my baby at home but would still like to have a midwife or dual there to help out just in case!

I am 4 weeks along in my pregnancy and just trying to figure everything out as this wasn’t fully planned, but a wonderful surprise for me and my husband! I have a history of seizures, I have tachycardia, and EDS. Also last October 2025, my husband and I had a miscarriage, so just want to make sure that this baby is good and healthy. We are living in Kansas right now, but we are planning to move to Iowa soon, (my husbands family lives there) so we are hoping to have the baby there. I am not sure what birth plan I want yet, but I am kind of hoping and praying that I can do a home birth, but with my other medical conditions I am nervous

This will be my third pregnancy but second birth I would like to give birth in my hometown hospital in Pratt Ks but I would like to go unmedicated and I would like help preparing for that and help with preparing my spouse. I don’t quite know what my budget is right now

After Birth • Immediate skin-to-skin contact with my baby. • Delayed cord clamping, if medically appropriate. • Dad would like to cut the umbilical cord. If Transfer to a Hospital Is Needed • If the baby needs to be transported to the hospital, Dad will accompany and stay with the baby.

Searching for a specific midwife, as a Woman of The Nile, to assist Me in My Pregnancy, Delivery and Beyond, if need be. Interested in Water Birth, Attentive and Culturally Competent Care, over all Guidance and Support. Current insurance is Sunflower Health This would be my initial meeting and Consult.

I would like a home birth. I don’t really have an estimate looking for something that can be covered by insurance. I would like to be able to give birth in a birthing pool at home, with my family around.

This is my first pregnancy, and I am looking for a home birth. I want the whole experience, prenatal and birth, to be as natural as possible. I will go to a hospital if necessary; however, if that happens, I would like the midwife to be there with me and never let the baby be alone with the doctors. I am not sure if this matters, but I am not planning on vaccinating the baby. My husband and I can't spend more than 5,500 and we would need to be on a payment plan. I have been doing research on water births, and I would potentially want that!

Planning on delivering in a birthing center. I’m wanting to find a provider that is covered by my insurance because my insurance should cover all of the cost. I have TRICARE prime and I’m currently in contact with my doctor on getting a referral so I can see my options. Im wanting a natural birth with no interventions. This will be my second birth/pregnancy and with my first I didn’t know a lot and ended up getting an epidural and was given Pitocin and had a second degree tear, all im wanting to avoid this time. With my first I did have a girl and I am having a boy this time and we are currently discussing what we want to do for circumcision.

Needing a midwife who is super supportive and has off unless needed family oriented (meaning can work around kids being present ) I plan on giving birth at home I plan to use my insurance but I'm not sure yet my birth plan is just a calm family center spiritual birth with lots of family hands on of needed
