About me

Hi everyone, my name is Lauren and I'm looking to support families as a postpartum doula. As a mom to a young child myself, I understand how overwhelming and transformative the postpartum period can be and I'm passionate about helping families feel supported, confident, and cared for during this time. With a background in social work, I bring a strong foundation in emotional well-being, family dynamics, and infant development. My approach is gentle, nonjudgmental, and responsive to each family's unique needs. I am also nearly completed with my CLC program (certified lactation counselor) and offer support with breastfeeding. My goal is to help you in co-creating a calm, nurturing environment for both baby and parents. I'd love to connect and see how I can support your family during this season.

Service introduction

My services include newborn care such as feeding support, soothing techniques, diapering, and helping establish routines. I can assist with light household tasks such as meal prep, tidying, and laundry, so you can focus on rest and recovery. I provide emotional and practical support for parents as they adjust to the ups and downs of postpartum life.

Packages
Early Morning Reset
5am-9am. 3 days/week. This is perfect for families who need extra support during the hardest early morning hours. I arrive early to care for your baby so you can get some uninterrupted rest, sleep in, or ease into the morning at your own pace. While baby is cared for, I also help set up your household for a smoother day - light tidying, starting laundry, etc. As with any package, we can tailor it to your specific needs.

Sundown Support
7pm-11pm. 3 days/week. This package provides hands-on support when babies tend to be fussiest and parents are most in need of relief. I'm there to help soothe and care for your baby through cluster feeding, witching hours, and bedtime transitions. During this time i assist with feeding, diapering, soothing techniques, and ultimately work to help settle your baby through the night. I can also help in resetting your house for the next day.

Afternoon Recharge
2pm-6pm. 2 days/week. This package is designed to provide steady supportive care during the afternoon hours when energy dips and babies often need extra soothing. I can give you respite between the busy morning, and help you move into the evening feeling more organized and prepared.
