About me

I am a mother to 7 and grandmother to 3 toddlers. My children range from 16-31 years old. Yes they are all mine and I gave birth to every one, plus 4 in Heaven. When I gave birth to my children I was able to do 6 of them unmedicated and all were delivered vaginally with no significant damage to my lady parts. All a testament to good education, faith, and great, knowledgeable caregivers. I would love to work with clients who are seeking this kind of birth. However, my passion and calling is to help parents to have the birth they are desiring, and to support them in their journey no matter the method; whether vaginal, unmedicated, epidural, C-section(planned or emergency), hospital, birth center, or at home. I would be privileged to support you and your family into the exciting adventure of parenting. I am a birth and postpartum doula, recently trained. I am working toward my THW and getting my Doula business up and running. I offer lactation support and referral when needed. I offer calm, flexible, adaptive, confident support during your birth and post partum period. I have been told often by health professionals what a great job I do advocating for others. I am certified in Hypnobirthing Support and will be attending Spinning Babies Foundation class at the end of April. Service introduction

I am trained as a birth and postpartum doula. I have extensive experience in infant care and breastfeeding. I have assisted with high risk pregnancy, rare genetic condition care, including cleft lip and pallet, C-section postpartum, vaginal delivery and postpartum care. I went through training to assist with hypno birthing births.As a lifelong learner I am constantly reading and studying about birth and postpartum evidence-based methods.
