I met Jill when my first child was only a few weeks old. Her knowledge, patience, and guidance saved my breastfeeding journey with both of my children. She's kind, attentive, and supportive and has a heart to help women achieve their pregnancy, labor, birth, and breastfeeding goals.

When I had my second child and my fair share of breastfeeding struggles, I decided to use my nursing education as a basis for studying to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant after I was inspired by my own favorite IBCLC to help others. I have been certified with IBLCE since 2017 and have personal experience breastfeeding for a total of six years so far! (3.5 years with my first child, 2 years with my second child, and almost fifteen months with our new baby!) After over nine years of caring for the tiniest babies in the Chattanooga, TN area, I decided to found Nourish & Nurture to pursue my dream of being a lactation consultant in an outpatient setting. Breastfeeding comes with both joys and struggles, and I want to be available to mothers as a form of support wherever they are in their breastfeeding journey whether that's with learning the process, troubleshooting, pumping, or weaning.

Hello there! My name is Jess Harrell and I am an RN, IBCLC in the northwest Georgia region. As an IBCLC I am experienced with both in-person, virtual, and telephone lactation consultations. A little about myself! My journey in healthcare started in the ER as a patient care tech, and I became an RN in 2010. Shortly after obtaining my RN I stepped into the world of Women's Health. I have practiced in multiple arenas of Women's Health such as: mother/baby, newborn admission and nursery, labor and delivery, OB-GYN office, and lactation consultation. My journey with breastfeeding was brought on when I faced my own personal struggles with breastfeeding my first baby. I struggled with postpartum depression during that time and I did not feel that I had enough support from personal relationships nor from clinical providers. Because of this experience I became very passionate about providing support to other breastfeeding families. I never another struggling family to feel that they do not have the support and resources to reach their breastfeeding goals! I am married and we have 2 children and 3 pups! I enjoy nature, crochet, and reading. I love working with breastfeeding families and being a source of support and camaraderie with my families. I look forward to working with you!

Leslie is absolutely the best thing that has ever happened to us! I couldn't, or didn't have the same support with my first, as I did with Leslie. She found out daughter had oral ties, when other doctors said she didn't. Leslie came to our home many times, video appointments, and endless texts. It has been 2 years and still going strong. I cannot say enough good things about Leslie. I do wish we had her for our first!

Hi, My name is Kim Curry. I am a Nurse and Lactation Consultant with over a decade of experience helping moms with breastfeeding and babies. I am starting my journey with Thrive Lactation Center, helping moms in their homes, or virtually, with all things breastfeeding and pumping. I can also offer prenatal appointments to help mommas prepare for their sweet bundles of joy. INSURANCE ACCEPTED!

Recent review

I had the pleasure of joining a lactation class that Kim hosted less than a week before our bundle of joy arrived. The things we learned helped jumpstart our breastfeeding journey and allowed us to notice signs of when our little one was ready to eat- as soon as an hour after she was born, when we were doing skin to skin. Kim is so well spoken and knowledgeable, guiding us in the right direction when it came to feeding our baby and the importance of advocating for ourselves in the hospital. I am beyond grateful for the knowledge Kim has given us when it came to breast feeding and would recommend her to any new mom!

I got connected with Kay through a friend of mine that is also a doula. I had to go back to work a lot earlier since I am a single mother so needed nanny services. Kay was so amazing and my baby loved (still does lol) her. She also would straighten up my place and made sure things were organized when I got home from work. Kay is definitely heaven sent and I thank her for such a good experience with helping me through this journey of motherhood.

Peaches was an amazing night nurse! She cared so well for our sweet girl while we could get some sleep. As first time parents, we had so many questions and she was always available whether at our home or cell between nights to answer them and keep our mind at ease. She made us feel comfortable to ask anything and we learned a lot from her. The first few weeks with a newborn are tough and we are so grateful to Peaches for helping us. She is very educated and genuinely passionate about her job, she even had our baby sleeping through the night at 3 months. You would be very lucky to have Peaches caring for your baby!
