Hi, I'm Corina - midwife, mother, and matrescence facilitator. For over 30 years, I’ve held sacred space for women at their most raw and powerful moments—guiding them through the threshold of childbirth and into the postpartum period as a midwife. As a single mother of three and a purpose-driven entrepreneur, I know intimately the ache of trying to hold it all together while slowly losing touch with myself. After the birth of my third daughter, I was brought to my knees by the depths of postpartum depression and anxiety. I turned to the very tools I now teach—embodiment, feminine power, and the transformational map of matrescence—to reclaim my life from burnout and disconnection. Today, as a midwife and transformational facilitator, I support mothers in doing the same: coming home to themselves, reigniting their passion, and stepping fully into the powerful, integrated women they were born to be—at home, in business, and in the world.

As a doula, it is my goal to support families in achieving positive birth experiences. I am a certified birth and bereavement doula, trained Hypnobabies® doula and placenta encapsulation specialist serving Huntsville and the surrounding areas. As your doula, I will support and guide you during your pregnancy and birth, assist you in developing a birth plan that feels best for you, give you access to my lending library and resources, as well as help you advocate for the birth you want. My journey to becoming a doula was born out of my own pregnancy and birth experiences. I am a mother to two children, a daughter born via cesarean birth in 2015 and a son born via VBAC (vaginal birth after c section) in 2017. It was after my c section that my interest in birth education and alternative birthing methods developed. When I learned I was pregnant with my son, I determined to VBAC for my second pregnancy. Knowing I may have some roadblocks on my journey to VBAC, I hired a doula to guide me through pregnancy and birth and empower me to advocate for myself. Having someone in my corner to give me resources as well as emotional support through out pregnancy made all the difference in my experience. Knowing firsthand how important it is to have support and resources throughout such a transformative time in your life, I strive to be a source of strength, knowledge, and empowerment as your doula on your journey to motherhood.

I am passionate about empowering moms and insuring they have all the information they need to make informed decisions. My name is Alleah Welch, I am a former Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse turned current Birth and Postpartum Doula. I am also currently pursuing my Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Certified Nurse Midwifery. I currently live in Huntsville, Al. I am a mother of 4 beautiful children. It is thorough my own birthing experiences that ignited the fire in me that is my passion for women’s health. I believe that pregnancy, birth and postpartum are the true essence of the magic that women possess and it should be treated as such. I believe that doulas should be accessible to all women as a primary part of maternal health care. I am a believer of holistic health, healing the mind, body and spirit, as well as herbalism and natural methods. I use all of these skills and practices in my work as a supportive person during pregnancy, birth,and postpartum. I have many flexible package to choice from. I offer a free Herbal consultation with every client if they wish to use herbs, or teas. I do support wild pregnancy and unassisted birth/freebirth. I am also part of the LGBTQ+ community so I do feel great P.R.I.D.E when I have the honor to support queer families with fertility, birth, and during the postpartum period.
