Hi! I'm Naomi. I am a Certified Practitioner Midwife choosing to focus on providing birth and postpartum doula support. I keep my Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) cards active at all times. I am currently in the process of becoming certified as a postpartum doula. I believe that if women/birthing persons and their babies were truly supported in the way they most need, we would have peace on Earth. I decided to become a midwife and doula because I want to make the world a better place, and I believe the way to do that is to bring compassionate support to mothers and their babies. I received my training through Maternidad La Luz (birth center on the US/Mexico border) and the Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA). I have attended around 150 births and have provided care for many newborns. I currently run Little Angel Doula and work part time as a midwife assistant for a local home birth practice. My philosophy centers around trusting the birthing body and trusting the process of transition into parenthood. I received my full spectrum doula certification from Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings in 2023 and I have been supporting families in this period of life for years. My experience is in doula care, infant day-care settings, nannying, non-profit work, and milk banking. My long term goal is to have an impact on marginalized communities. Doula care, especially support during the postpartum period, is seen as a luxury to many people, because it has become more inaccessible. Hi, I’m Kolby, a full spectrum doula! I come from a big family and have always loved birth & babies. I have been working with children for the past 10 years. In college, I studied nursing (my mom is a nurse), as well as reproductive health. As a doula, I love being able to care for babies and help families adjust to this new stage of life. It makes me happy knowing I’m making a difference in someone’s home. Building relationships and trust with families is important to me, something I take seriously as your doula. Prior to becoming a doula, I worked as an overnight newborn care specialist, nanny and infant teacher– supporting babies and collaborating with parents. I also LOVE working with multiples– I have worked with several multiples families including twins and triplets.

I am a certified birth& postpartum doula, as well as CPR& first aide. After having 3 babies of my own, I knew this is exactly the career for me. I know how lonely and tiring the postpartum journey can be, and that’s what I am here for! I’d love to be your extra support. My goal is to actively listen to your needs and wants, and to create a healthy sleep schedule for your baby and you. Rest is very important in the fourth trimester. I can give you resources, suggestions, and advice when needed. I will be there to do some chores as well such as cleaning bottle and pump parts, and doing the baby’s laundry.
