Weill Cornell, I don’t know what the budget should be
Meal prep and baby care with light cleaning Insurance is Cigna
Planning to give birth at Lenox Hill hospital in NYC. We are looking for a postpartum doula AND night nurse, someone who can help me adjust postpartum and care for me and my baby. I want the nurse to help make sure my baby sleeps throughout the night and takes care of the baby while I work. Also, I want the nanny to cook for us. Estimated budget is TBD. Birth plan is natural vaginal. Mandatory: Must speak English and Mandarin Chinese.
Looking for a birthing team. Not sure specific as I am just starting the process.
Seeking a confinement nanny, Chinese preferred but flexible
We are interested in doula assistance during labor and postpartum doula care as well. We may also be interested in overnight care but aren’t certain yet. I will be giving birth at Weill Cornell Alexandra Cohen hospital in NYC with my husband, Isaac, by my side. My OBGYN in Dr. Lauren Ruggiero. I am planning for a vaginal delivery with epidural and this is my first pregnancy! Estimated budget depends on extent of care we end up going with, but we’ll say $10,000.

We are first-time parents expecting a baby girl around May 10th on the Upper East Side in Manhattan. We're looking for a certified postpartum doula or newborn care specialist to provide overnight support starting shortly after birth, ideally within the first week home from the hospital. Schedule: We'd like to start with 3 nights per week (flexible on which nights) for an initial 4-week engagement, with the possibility of extending to 6–8 weeks depending on how things go. Typical shift would be approximately 10 hours overnight (around 8pm–6am), though we're open to adjusting based on what works best. Provider requirements: We strongly prefer someone with a postpartum doula certification (DONA, CAPPA, or equivalent) and at least 2–3 years of professional newborn care experience. Current infant CPR certification is a must. We'd value someone who has worked with first-time parents before and is comfortable guiding us through the learning curve rather than just taking over — we want to build confidence, not dependence. A provider who is experienced with breastfeeding support (positioning, latch guidance, pump setup) is especially important, as we plan to breastfeed and want help navigating that during nighttime feeds. Baby details: Healthy singleton pregnancy with no complications expected. Newborn girl, no known special needs. We plan to breastfeed but are open to supplementing with formula if needed — we'd appreciate a provider who is supportive and non-judgmental about either approach. Additional duties: Primary focus is overnight newborn care — feeding (bringing baby to breast or bottle prep), diapering, soothing, and settling baby back to sleep so both parents can rest. Beyond that, we'd appreciate help with establishing healthy sleep habits early on, light bottle washing and pump parts cleaning, and keeping a simple log of feeding times and diaper output. We are not looking for daytime household help — this is purely overnight newborn support. About us: Dad will be working and mom is on maternity leave for a few months. Sleep matters for both of us to function, which is the main reason we're seeking help. We live in a doorman building on the Upper East Side, so building access is straightforward. Budget: We're targeting $350–450 per night for a 10-hour overnight shift, though we're open to discussing rates for the right fit. We have employer benefits that may cover a portion of the cost for certified postpartum doula services specifically, so certification is a real plus. Timing: Our due date is May 10th, so we're looking to confirm someone in the next 2–3 weeks. We understand this is a shorter lead time than ideal and appreciate anyone who has availability for a late spring start.

Take care of a baby with 1mon old.
We don't know how much doula costs so we need a guidance here. We live in Jersey City (Newport) and need postpartum doula. About us: We’re a bilingual English-Russian couple, both Jewish and fairly agnostic. While religion isn’t central to our lives, we’d prefer someone who understands our cultural background—usually that’s other Jewish people or Christians. This will be our first baby, and we’re looking for someone who can help us prepare. Ideally, we’d like to start with a call to go over what to expect and how to get ready for labor. We also want someone to visit us at home on the second day after birth to walk us through feeding and basic newborn care. Longer-term, we’re open to ongoing support and possibly having someone with us during labor, depending on pricing. We have Anthem insurance and would appreciate a clear picture of the financial commitment up front. In terms of approach, we’re pragmatic and prefer someone who’s professional, kind, and direct. I don’t like being called “mommy” or being spoken to in a cutesy or overly emotional way. A grounded, focused personality would be a better fit. We’re sensitive and emotionally aware, but not drawn to overly spiritual approaches. We’re looking for someone who understands both the science and the natural, intuitive side of birth, without leaning too far into either extreme. For labor, I plan to move around, avoid medication if I can manage the pain, and steer clear of anything involving needles. I’ve tried meditation and it doesn’t work for me, so I’d prefer other methods like breathwork, bathing, dim lighting, and moving intuitively. English is my second language, so clear pronunciation is important. And finally, we have a very active and friendly corgi, so being comfortable around dogs is a must.
