We live in a 1-bedroom apartment in NYC, and my mom will be staying with us for the first month to help with the baby, including some overnight support. Because of this, I’m not looking for full-time or live-in care, but rather targeted, part-time support that complements family help. We're looking for a certified postpartum doula or newborn care specialist to provide overnight support starting shortly after birth, ideally within the first week home from the hospital. Schedule: We'd like to start with 3 nights per week (flexible on which nights) for an initial 4-week engagement, with the possibility of extending to 6–8 weeks depending on how things go.
