I'm reaching out because I'm looking for a doula who can provide the support and advocacy I've been missing throughout my pregnancy. Unfortunately, I haven't received the prenatal care I needed for much of my pregnancy due to switching OB-GYNs and dealing with other challenges. As a result, I've often felt dismissed during appointments, and it's been difficult to feel heard or supported by my medical providers. I'm hoping to find a doula who can be a supportive presence during the remainder of my pregnancy, help me prepare for birth, and provide reassurance and advocacy during labor and delivery. Having someone in my corner who will listen, help me ask questions, and support my birth preferences would mean a great deal to me. I plan on giving birth at the Vassar brothers Hospital in Poughkeepsie. My estimated budget is anywhere from 2500 to 3500. My birth plan is flexible at this point. I’m still trying to decide what’s best for me. I’m not opposed to a medicated plan. I would like the Doula to be certified and to have at least 2 to 3 years of experience. I would like lots of resources to childbirth education classes.

i really wanted a at home birth, but if not i would prefer to give birth at st. charles. I dont want any medication that isnt necessary i want skin to skin if possible for both me and the dad.
