Support in hospital for labor and delivery, covered by insurance
I am looking for a very experienced doula who can help my husband and I prepare for a hospital delivery. It is important for me to have someone with a calming presence who can guide my husband and I through the birthing process. I would like to labor on my own for as long as possible before getting an epidural(if needed) so having someone there to help with this would be beneficial.
I am new to the idea of having a doula. I would like to do more preparation work to hopefully have a smoother delivery. My first experience of childbirth, ended in a natural delivery that was forceps assisted, and I had 3+ hours of pushing before we decided between forceps or C section. I had to be induced after 11 days being overdue. I would hope that with this next pregnancy I can go naturally and have way less medications than I had the first time. I want to trust that my body knows what to do, but I need to help train it to achieve my goal. I understand despite some things are out of my control, I can help myself to have a better delivery and post partum outcome. 1. Monmouth Medical Center 2. Unsure, I am looking to see if I have insurance coverage.
Hospital birth at St. Peter’s in New Brunswick Insurance Non interrupted, pain meds, peaceful and calm
Very newly pregnant. Would like some information. I don’t really have any plans yet. Do not have a high budget
First time mom, prefer natural route. Seeking any and all advice.
Either Riverview in Red Bank or Jersey Shore Hospital Not sure on budget yet I would like to give birth in a hospital unmedicated and not rushed. Delayed cord clamping is a must as long as the baby is healthy.
I plan to give birth at Riverview Hospital in Red Bank. Estimated budget is $1,500-$2,000 but am curious about insurance coverage. I'd like to have a low-intervention birth.
Delivering at Jersey Shore Hospital. Would like to try to have a natural birth without epidural. Want a certified doula that has been actively supporting births for at least 5 years. Would like support pre delivery, guidance on exercises, stretches and anything that can support comfort and preparation for delivery.

Hi! I’m currently pregnant and looking for a doula. I have insurance coverage for doula services that is billed first, and then any remaining balance is submitted through a “difference card” program. I wanted to see if you’ve worked with this type of setup before, or if you’d be open to coordinating with a biller to submit claims. I’m also happy to help manage the process on my end if needed. I’d love to hear more about your availability, pricing, and what your support includes. Thank you so much!

Plan to use insurance Birthing in a hospital
I am currently pregnant with a high-risk pregnancy due to preeclampsia and gestational diabetes, and I am planning to deliver by C-section at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. Because of my medical condition, I need a doula who can provide calm, consistent emotional and physical support throughout my birth experience. I would like support in the following ways: Emotional support before delivery to help me manage fear, stress, and anxiety related to a high-risk pregnancy and surgery Clear explanation of what to expect before, during, and after a C-section so I feel more prepared and less overwhelmed Advocacy and communication support in the hospital to help me express my needs and preferences to the medical team Support for my partner so he knows how to help me and feels confident during the process Comfort and reassurance during the hospital stay, especially before surgery when I may feel anxious Support with early recovery after the C-section, including guidance with movement, bonding with my baby, and breastfeeding if possible Continuous presence so I do not feel alone during a stressful medical birth experience Because I am in a high-risk pregnancy and away from my home support system, I want a doula who can help me feel safe, calm, and supported during one of the most important moments of my life.
I am specifically interested in support that includes prenatal guidance and preparation, continuous labor and birth support, and postpartum care to assist with recovery, emotional well-being, and the transition into motherhood. Having consistent, knowledgeable, and compassionate support throughout this entire journey is very important to me.
