Hi! I’m Megan, a birth doula and mom of four daughters serving Summerville, Charleston, and the surrounding Lowcountry. After experiencing four very different births of my own; including induction, unmedicated birth, and water birth-I developed a passion for helping other moms feel informed, confident, supported, and heard throughout their birth experience. I’m currently completing my doula certification and offer a reduced introductory rate while building my birth experience. I provide continuous emotional and physical support during labor, help you understand your options, support your birth preferences, and work alongside your partner and care team. My Christian faith is at the heart of For Such a Time Birth Services, inspired by Esther 4:14. For families who desire it, I’m honored to incorporate prayer, Scripture, and faith-based encouragement into pregnancy and birth. Faith-based support is always optional, and every family is welcomed and respected. Whether you’re planning an unmedicated birth, epidural, induction, or simply aren’t sure yet, you don’t have to have everything figured out. I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you prepare to meet your baby.

Birth & Postpartum Doula packages and pricing

Birth Doula

While I am still completing my birth doula certification, I am offering deeply discounted rates. In my area Doulas charge around $1600. I am offering my services for $600. This includes at least 1 prenatal visit, 15 hours of labor support, and 1 postpartum visit.

Postpartum Care

I offer drop in services such as assisting with laundry, dishes, or even taking care of baby while you take a nap or shower. I also offer overnight care. Daytime rates are $30 an hour, overnights are $40 an hour.
