I just tested positive on 3 pregnancy tests. I also just had some light bleeding two days after my positive test. Bleeding only happened one time and was just brown residue for a day and a half. This is my first pregnancy. I want an at home birth. Preferably holistic medicine and no epidural.

This is my first pregnancy and everything is going well thus far, currently 19 weeks. I would prefer a home birth, but am also open to a birthing center. I would like to avoid a hospital setting if possible. I plan to have a natural birth. I have BCBS of Texas Copay PPO insurance through my employer. I have HSA funds available as well.

I am currently around 9 weeks pregnant and looking for supportive prenatal care with good communication and a more personal approach throughout pregnancy and delivery. I am interested in a water birth, but only at a birth center or hospital setting — not an at-home birth. I would prefer a provider within a reasonable distance from the Venus/Mansfield, TX area. I am currently considered low risk and mainly looking for routine prenatal care, ultrasounds, genetic screening options, and guidance throughout pregnancy. I also need a provider who is familiar with VA/TriWest authorization and billing processes.

My daughter wants a home birth in Seven Points Texas 75143 This is a second birth. Her budget is $2000. Her first took place in a nearby hospital in Athens, TX. (40 min. away.) She wants a natural childbirth. But wants someone knowledgeable to monitor labor for unforeseen complications. An Emergency Center is 20 minutes away in nearby Gun Barrel City. The roards are good except the first 2.75 miles which are paved but ill-maintained but serviceable.

I want to build a trusting relationship with a provider who listens to my concerns, takes the time to understand my experiences, and involves me in decisions about my care rather than making assumptions about me. I’ve felt that my concerns haven’t been fully heard by my current OB, particularly regarding my mental health. I’ve repeatedly explained that I don’t feel depressed, but I feel that antidepressants continue to be the focus instead of taking the time to understand what I’m actually experiencing. I want a provider who approaches these conversations with an open mind, respects my perspective, and works with me to explore appropriate options without making me feel pressured into a particular treatment. I also have a history of marijuana use, but I stopped smoking when I found out I was pregnant and have remained sober. Despite this, I’ve felt judged and repeatedly accused of continuing to smoke because of positive THC tests. I’ve been experiencing recurring episodes of cyclical nausea and vomiting, but I feel these symptoms have been attributed to marijuana use and my positive test results rather than being thoroughly evaluated as their own medical concern. I understand that my history is medically relevant, and I’m willing to be honest and transparent about it, but I also want a provider who recognizes that a positive THC test does not automatically establish ongoing use and who takes the time to investigate my symptoms instead of making assumptions. I’m looking for a midwife who will advocate for me, take my physical and emotional well-being seriously, and help me feel safe discussing difficult topics without fear of being judged. I value open communication, evidence-based care, informed decision-making, and a provider who sees me as a whole person rather than defining me by my past. Most importantly, I want to feel respected, supported, and involved in my pregnancy journey as I prepare to become a mother.

I do not know a lot about midwivery besides some initial research but would like to explore that route for our care. Midwifery services is my primary concern, but also would like to learn about doula services and lactation services to see if that’s a good option for me too. would prefer birth center or home birth (water birth) Have Aetna insurance so prefer to use that, otherwise will pay OOP/look at financing options.
