Hands-On Birth Doula Care
If your wish is to have an extra set of hands or support for you or your spouse during the arrival of your little one then birth doula care is for you! All clients choosing to receive birth doula support will be given customizable care tailored to their family's needs as well as:
- Customizable care tailored to your families unique needs
- A FREE consultation call or meeting to figure out if we are a good fit
- TWO pre-birth meetings with you and your spouse (if applicable) to discuss: Your birth preferences, Prepare for postpartum, Practice pain management techniques, & much more!
- Access to client book library
- On-call starting at 37 weeks of pregnancy until you give birth
- Up to 15 hours of hands-on birth support at your chosen birth location
- On-call back-up doula in case of primary doula illness
- TWO postpartum meeting with you, new baby, and your spouse (if applicable)
- & much more!
Birth Photography
Wanting to document this life-changing event in you and your families life? Hoping to have someone in the background catching those moments you don't want to forget? Sounds like a birth photographer would be a perfect addition to your birth team! When you hire Foreknown Birth to photograph your birth you will receive:
- A FREE consultation meeting to figure out if we are a good fit
- ONE pre-birth meeting to discuss any concerns or desires you may have for your birth photos
- On-call service starting at 37 weeks until you give birth
- Active labor photography plus baby's arrival and immediate postpartum
- Fully edited high-quality gallery delivered within 3 weeks following your birth
- Unlimited digital downloads of your gallery
OPTIONAL: Photographer-curated hard copy album of your birth experience (additional costs apply)
Daytime Postpartum Doula Care
A postpartum mother's recovery is largely dependant on rest and hands on care. Whether you already have many children, your spouse has to go back to work soon after baby arrives, you don't have family nearby, or you just feel as if you need extra support, every mother can benefit from postpartum doula care. When you receive postpartum doula care through Foreknown Birth you will get:
- Customizable care to your individual needs: 3 hour minimum.
Hands-on daytime OR nighttime hourly support; This may look like...
- Newborn care (so you can shower or relax)
- Light household chores/cleaning/laundry/organizing
- Cooking a meal for your family
- A listening ear and personalised exercises to help you and/or your spouse process your birth (if desired)
- Answers to any questions you may have about postpartum healing, breastfeeding, baby care, etc.
- Access to local resources of all kinds for you and baby (if needed)
Nighttime Postpartum Doula Care
A postpartum mother's recovery is largely dependant on rest and hands on care. Whether you already have many children, your spouse has to go back to work soon after baby arrives, you don't have family nearby, or you just feel as if you need extra support, every mother can benefit from postpartum doula care. When you receive postpartum doula care through Foreknown Birth you will get:
- Customizable support tailored to your individual needs: 6 hour minimum
Hands-on daytime OR nighttime hourly support; This may look like...
- Newborn care (so you can shower or relax)
- Diaper changes and additional soothing for baby during the night (so you can get more sleep)
- Practical care for you during the light (grabbing you a snack, pump, or glass of water)
- A listening ear and personalised exercises to help you and/or your spouse process your birth (if desired)
- Answers to any questions you may have about postpartum healing, breastfeeding, baby care, etc.
- Access and referrals to local resources of all kinds for you and baby (if needed)
