Pam Rodgers; Postpartum Doula (CPD), Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) Pam is a recent transplant from Philadelphia, and is very excited and eager to continue her doula practice while living full-time on Cape Cod. Pam has been serving clients as a DONA trained and certified postpartum doula since 2015. Pam is also a trained Infant Massage Therapist, an advocate for Poppy Seed Health, and holds a certificate of training in Perinatal Mood Disorders from Postpartum Support International. She is currently training as a Sleep Consultant and hopes to incorporate that into her work with families very soon. Pam approaches her work creatively, developing strategies to support families as they transition and grow in their new roles as parents. From an early age, Rophe was drawn to birth work and the beauty of the experience. Melissa’s earliest memory of delighting in the birth process was as a child visiting the Science Museum. Hi! My name is Heather and I’m a birth & postpartum doula out of Bellingham, MA. I have 2 young kids and was inspired in my own pregnancies and deliveries to become a family support worker during the incredible transition of welcoming home a new baby. I first trained as a doula in 2009, after the birth of my (much) younger brother. I was inspired by my mother’s experience and wanted to help birthing people own their births and find their confidence as a new parent through the birthing process. I went on to study Maternal and Child Health graduating from Boston University with a Master in Public Health. I have worked in public health policy with the career aim to transform the birthing system in this country. Through both my policy work and my work as a doula - I hope to rectify that birth is not just for women and it is not for women to do alone. Alondra has further enriched her expertise through work with Public Health Solutions, honing her skills in community-centered care. Drawing from her Salvadoran and Dominican roots, Alondra takes a holistic approach, focusing on nurturing the mind, body, and spirit throughout the reproductive and parenting journey.
