My budget is whatever Medicaid covers, my insurance is AmeriHealth caritas New Hampshire. My birth plan is pretty simple. I want a vaginal birth as close to natural as possible. I want the golden hour, I don’t want any cord flaming or cutting until the umbilical cord has completely stopped pulsating and is white, no unnecessary vaccines, all tests can be done in the room.

I'm planning on giving birth at Elliott Hospital in Manchester NH. This is my first baby and all of our family lives in VA so I want someone to advocate for me during labor! My husband and I are definitely more on the holistic side of things, I really don't want to give birth laying on my back, we want to do delayed cord clamping, skin to skin right away, and more! I want my birth to be as natural as possible. My goal is for it to be unmedicated but also I know things happen sometimes where that's not an option. Not 100% sure what the normal budget would be for this so that's up for discussion! Our Faith is very important to us too so that has been a big part of my pregnancy journey!
