About me
Nusrat Jahan Moon prefers to introduce herself as Amatullah. Amatullah is a mother of two beautiful children. After a traumatic birth experience with her first child, she felt an overwhelming desire to become a doula. Then, by Allah's infinite mercy, she used the knowledge gained from her AMANI Birth training during the birth of her second child to experience a natural delivery. She has expressed her desire to gain more knowledge about natural childbirth in the future. She is also a writer and is the author of Brishtyveja Bikel. She worked with Sorobor as a writer for about two years. Her writings have been published in all of Roudromoyee's books. Moreover, her work has been published by Somokalin Prokason, Muhammad Publication, and several other publishing houses. She has also edited a book called Sukher Natai. According to her, motherhood is a difficult path, and she wants to be a companion of mothers on this journey. Working with expectant mothers is an area of her passion. "[He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed – and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving." (Al-Quran, Surah Al-Mulk 67:2) Birth is a miracle, as Allah (SWT) creates a human being in the womb and gives it life. Every human is different in color, height, personality, and spirituality. The more she thinks about this miracle, the more she feels an urge to be a part of it. Becoming a Birth Doula has become her passion day by day. Working with the mothers who are carrying a living example of Allah's existence is a huge blessing for her. She hopes it will keep reminding her of her true goal in this life: that we all have to return to Him, the one who created all of us.
