I am planning on giving birth at a birthing center. I have Federal Blue Cross Blue Shield as an insurance provider. Budget unknown as of yet.

I’m trying to find a midwife to help with a homebirth in Ogden Utah. I’m researching options under $6,000 hoping for extra help with nutrition, exercise, and mental health.

i wanted to give birth in a birthing center but I started seeing a Midwife/OB-GYN at mkay dee hospital ogden and I'm not in love with the experience so far. I want the m out natural birth possible without any medical intervention unless completely necessary but I know giving birth in hospitals they have procedures they automatically follow so I need someone to be my advocate and make sure they follow my birth plan. ideally I want a vaginal birth with laughing gas no epidural

I plan to labor at home for a bit or have a supportive person besides my partner to help guide me. I’m wanting to do a home birth. Want to find someone covered by my insurance. I’m interested in a water birth. My first labor was 3.5 hours so I’m hoping to deliver from home cause I don’t think I’ll be able to make it to the hospital in time for the next. I didn't have any complications with my first delivery it just happened really fast and i went into labor at 36weeks 5days. I got gestational diabetes my first pregnancy but was able to manage it with diet and exercise. My blood pressure got a little high towards the end of my pregnancy and I ended up doing one nonstress test before the baby came early. I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant and am hoping to do a home birth this time around. I 'm at a healthier place and have better habits going into this pregnancy which I plan to keep up throughout.

I’m currently pregnant with my 3rd and last baby. Either my first I gave birth to her under 6 hours with limited medication. With my second I had an extremely traumatic forced unmedicated birth not so to medical complications but due to a doctor who made a decision without my consent nor my husband’s. My second birth was 4 hours long. My deliveries are getting shorter so If avoidable I do not want to give birth in a hospital again.

I would like to give birth here at my apartment or at a local birth center. Not a hospital but somewhere where I can birth possibly in water & just naturally. I did my last baby natural in the hospital & I loved it so I don’t see a point going to the hostpial again. I would just like it to be as cheap as possible.
