I'm looking for a birth doula who can operate from a hospital. Ideally if they are registered with Los Robles hospital that would be amazing as I could cover it with insurance. Otherwise I will have to pay out of pocket and while I want support, birth is expensive. I want someone to be three throughout the birth and coach me through it as this is my first baby and I'm trying to do a natural birth in the hospital. I have an amazing midwife who operates out of Los Robles so we'll be doing that there. My ideal midwife would be spiritual - have sound bowls or suggestions for good music, sounds, breathing techniques, positions and natural herbs, oils and yoni steams to help bring a baby into this world in the most natural way possible given the circumstances.

We also have two poodles, so it is important that the person is comfortable around dogs and treats them kindly. We may occasionally need help with light household cleaning, baby laundry, and keeping the nursery and baby areas organized while caring for the baby. Overall, we are looking for someone who is caring, trustworthy, patient, responsible, respectful of our parenting decisions, and able to provide reassurance and support as we learn how to navigate being first-time parents.
