We are looking for a postpartum doula to support us after the arrival of our baby, expected at the end of April (likely via C-section). We would appreciate help with both newborn care and light household support during recovery. **Support needed includes:** • Preparing simple, nutritious meals (including basic baby food when needed) • Cleaning up dishes and light kitchen tidying after meal prep • Newborn care: feeding support, helping with naps and sleep routines, bathing, diaper & clothes changes, and gentle massage • Light housekeeping such as vacuuming once a week We are hoping to find someone experienced, caring, and reliable who can help us during this important transition period. Please reach out if you are available or can recommend someone. Thank you!
My birth plan is focused on having an empowering, informed, and supported hospital experience. I value evidence-based care, informed consent, and having someone who can advocate for my preferences while helping me remain flexible if medical interventions become necessary. I am open to pain management options and would appreciate emotional support, comfort measures, guidance for my partner, and postpartum encouragement with newborn care and feeding. Care will primarily be for a newborn infant, including support with feeding, soothing techniques, and adjustment to life with a new baby. I also have an older child in the home. I would appreciate postpartum assistance that may include light household tasks related to the baby, such as washing bottles or pump parts, baby laundry, meal preparation, and helping create a calm recovery environment. Guidance on newborn sleep routines and general infant education would also be helpful.
I am researching for my son and his fiancée who came home from the hospital today with their baby boy and are exhausted and need support. They have United Health Care and live in Johnston RI. I am willing to help pay some of the cost.
1. Beth Israel Boston 2. 3k 3. Currently in the early stages of creating a birth plan. I want to avoid a c-section if possible. My mother is no longer with us and having that extra female support is what I am looking for. Especially in the room during delivery.
Hi there, I hope you’re doing well. I’m reaching out because I’m currently looking for a birth doula for my October delivery. I’m currently 14 weeks pregnant with an estimated due date of 10/14. I’m planning to deliver at Women & Infants Hospital in Providence with the midwives at the birthing center, and I’m based in Mansfield, MA. I’m looking for a doula who is experienced with Women & Infants and supportive of a midwife-led birth experience. This is my first baby and pregnancy, so looking for all the advice and support! I have United Healthcare through Harvard Pilgrim, so I’d also love to know whether you accept this insurance, offer reimbursement support, or can provide a superbill. If you have October availability, I’d love to learn more about your services, experience, pricing, and whether you offer a consultation call. Thank you so much, and I look forward to hearing from you. Best, Kelsey
I am expecting a scheduled C-section with an estimated due date of 3/30/26 and will be giving birth in a hospital. I am looking specifically for daytime postpartum doula support after birth. I would like help with C-section recovery support, newborn care during the day, light household support related to baby and recovery, and guidance with feeding and routines. I am located in Taunton, MA and am a MassHealth member, so I am looking for a postpartum doula who is able to bill MassHealth directly or is enrolled with MassHealth. I am hoping to start support shortly after returning home from the hospital.
