I value evidence-based care, informed consent, and having someone who can advocate for my preferences while helping me remain flexible if medical interventions become necessary. I am open to pain management options and would appreciate emotional support, comfort measures, guidance for my partner, and postpartum encouragement with newborn care and feeding. Care will primarily be for a newborn infant, including support with feeding, soothing techniques, and adjustment to life with a new baby. I also have an older child in the home. I would appreciate postpartum assistance that may include light household tasks related to the baby, such as washing bottles or pump parts, baby laundry, meal preparation, and helping create a calm recovery environment.
