I am giving birth at Northside Atlanta. I would like to know if my insurance covers the cost of my doula services which I have Kaiser. My birth plan is to give natural birth with minimal visitors. I’m 32 with a high risk pregnancy and cerclage.
I want to have a home, water birth. I want to catch my baby as she/he comes out. I want to delay cord clamping and my baby does not leave my sight without my husband with baby.
I would prefer to have a freebirth, but I also realize the risks of that. I want what is best for my child, and although it makes me extremely nervous and uncomfortable to have anyone see me in that position, I want to do what is best for him. Despite everyone pushing me for hospital, I prefer to do everything at home if possible, unmedicated, and only intervention if needed.
