I'm passionate about helping women have the birthing experience they desire and hope for. Planning, preparing and practicing is where it starts. I always invest so much into my clients that in the end, they become lifelong friends.

When I found out I was pregnant, the thought of having a doula never crossed my mind. It seemed a little bougie for me, but when my doctor left the practice, I started to think about it. It was the best decision I made. At our first meeting, we went over my birth plan. Julie gave me things to work on at home, but she also came back another time to make sure I knew how to do those exercises. She was always checking in, and she always answered right away when I had questions throughout my pregnancy. When I (finally) went into labor, I was texting Julie in the middle of the night while I left my husband sleep. She came over later in the morning and I labored at home as long as I could. Julie had me doing all kinds on different movements and exercises to naturally progress labor because my plan was to go without an epidural (spoiler:I did not make it ha). My labor at the hospital was longer than I anticipated, and Julie never left my side. When I caved and got the epidural, she continued to help me with body positioning to try to progress labor without drugs. She spent 2 nights in the hospital with us. I finally delivered a baby girl and it was a beautiful moment. But just when Julie probably thought she was home free to go home to her bed my placenta would not deliver. I was rushed to the OR and my husband was left with our baby, terrified and confused. Julie did not leave his side. When I returned to recovery but clearly still having issues, Julie called my parents for my husband and did not leave his side until she met my parents and they basically forced her to go home and get some rest. I was in the hospital for 10 days and Julie was in constant communication with my husband to check on me. When I came home, she was one of the first people I wanted to see. If you're on the fence about hiring Julie, stop thinking and just do it. Not only will Julie make you feel more prepared and relaxed going into labor, but you will come out feeling like she's family.

Hola!! I am a certified Birth and Postpartum Doula serving the Southern New Jersey area. I am a former Labor and Delivery Nurse and in current practice as an OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner. The core of my philosophy for the work that I do is Education, Empowerment and Advocacy. I believe that your journey deserves more than what is offered as the standard for prenatal and postpartum care. I am here to facilitate exactly that! I am bilingual in Spanish and offer individual services through my website. I look forward to connecting with you!

I cannot recommend Dorian enough! She provided my prenatal care during my first pregnancy, and from the very beginning, I felt supported, educated, and genuinely cared for. She took the time to answer questions, ease concerns, and ensure I felt confident throughout my pregnancy journey. What stands out most is her calming presence and compassionate heart. She has a way of making you feel heard and empowered while providing exceptional guidance and advocacy. Her knowledge and experience are invaluable, but it’s her kindness and dedication that truly make a difference. Even after my baby was born, she remained available and present during the postpartum period, offering support, reassurance, and encouragement when I needed it most. Knowing I had someone I trusted to turn to during both pregnancy and postpartum brought me so much peace of mind. She goes above and beyond for the families she serves, and I am incredibly grateful for the care, support, and genuine compassion she has shown me. Any family would be lucky to have Dorian as part of their birth and postpartum journey.

My name is Victoria McQuiston, and I am deeply honored to serve as a certified postpartum doula and infant care specialist. Based in West Chester, PA, I am privileged to support families across the greater Philadelphia area during one of the most transformative seasons of life. With both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Communication Studies, I am profoundly aware of the power of connection and the vital role that community plays in nurturing women and families during the postpartum journey. My mission is to create a safe, compassionate, and judgment-free space for all parents seeking guidance, reassurance, and emotional support as they navigate this precious and sometimes challenging time. Beyond my professional calling, I find joy in life’s simplest and sweetest moments—exploring the outdoors with my two young sons, savoring a beloved book at a cozy local café, and sharing laughter and creativity in the kitchen with my husband. It would be my privilege to walk alongside you in this beautiful chapter, offering both encouragement and care as you embrace the incredible journey of parenthood.

Working with Victoria was the best decision we made as new parents! We initially hired her for six weeks, but she was so amazing that we extended her contract for four more months. We honestly don’t know how we would’ve gotten through that time without her. Victoria is not only super professional but also so warm and personable. From day one, she felt like part of the family. She always listened to what we needed, respected our parenting choices, and gave helpful advice without ever being pushy. It was clear how much she cared, and her calm, supportive presence made such a difference during those hectic first months. And let me just say, I don't think we could have done it without her! Our little one adored her, and she had this magical way of soothing even the crankiest moments. Her overnight care was a game changer for us—we finally got some much-needed sleep, knowing our baby was in the best hands. If you’re thinking about hiring a postpartum doula, don’t even hesitate. Victoria is incredible, and we feel so lucky to have had her with us during such an important time. She made everything so much easier and more enjoyable!
