First baby, planning to give birth at hospital in Orange CA but would like Doula support for planning, birth, and postpartum

I am a first time mom looking for birth doula and birthing education! We are an LGBTQ family and need someone willing to support/work with us. We want to do hospital birth because I have a low lying placenta but I struggle with not knowing what questions to ask/how to advocate.

Plan to give birth in a hospital, budget is whatever is covered under my insurance, not so sure about my birth plan just yet, would like to have experience more than 5 years, speaks English, certified, over 30 years old and has children of their own

This will be my first birth. I don't like the idea of giving birth in a hospital. I'd like a home water birth. I'm not sure about budget or at what it starts. I want to prep my body so birth is not a horrible experience. I'd prefer someone with many years of experience, at least 5. And speaks English and Spanish. I'm 28 years old and I'd like to have a postpartum plan to include healthy eating habits and exercise.

Hi! I’m a 21-year-old married mom of a 2-year-old, currently pregnant with my second baby and going through a separation from my husband. I’m a Christian, and I’m really looking for a doula who can support me physically, emotionally, and spiritually throughout this pregnancy and birth. I’m hoping to have an unmedicated, natural birth and would love to learn breathing techniques, labor positions, and different coping strategies to help me prepare. I’m honestly scared, and one of my biggest goals is to have a positive birth experience and to avoid tearing entirely if possible. I want to learn everything I can to prepare my body and reduce my risk of tearing. I also want to learn more about nutrition during pregnancy, including organic foods and understanding healthy versus less-healthy carbohydrates. I plan to breastfeed again and would love support with preparing for that as well. I also have questions about healthy weight management during pregnancy and postpartum and would love guidance on how to safely care for my body while making sure my baby is properly nourished. My husband and I are separated, but I would like him to be able to learn how to support me during pregnancy and birth if he is willing. I would appreciate a doula who can help educate both of us on what genuine, respectful support can look like during labor and delivery. As a Black mother and woman, I’m also very aware of the disparities and racism Black women can face within the healthcare system. Having someone who can advocate for me, help me understand my options, and make sure my voice is heard and respected during such a vulnerable experience is extremely important to me. I really want to feel safe, informed, empowered, and supported throughout this journey.

First baby, giving birth at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, CA. I am looking to have an unmedicated birth and my budget is about $2000

Birth Location: I plan to give birth at a Kaiser Permanente hospital in Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles. Estimated Budget: I am looking for a doula whose services are fully covered by my Kaiser insurance plan who also has TIN and NPI. Birth Plan: I intend to utilize standard labor and delivery care at a Kaiser facility, coordinating with my medical team and my doula for a supported birth experience.Provider Requirements: The provider must be a Tagalog-speaking doula with some experience, and they must be officially contracted with Kaiser Permanente to ensure my insurance covers the cost. There are no specific certification level or years of experience requirements.Care Recipients: Care will be focused on myself and my newborn baby, arriving around my estimated due date of December 7, 2026.Additional Duties: No additional duties are required (such as sleep training, cleaning, cooking, or laundry). The focus is entirely on standard birth and immediate postpartum doula support.

Third kid. Second kid was unmedicated vbac. Kaiser Baldwin park. I can send my previous birth plan for reference, there may be some things I add or take off. Preferably Christian but not required. Need help with the last bit of laboring at home and then head for delivery.

4th baby. Prior 3 c sections. First c section was due to low amniotic fluids induced at 36 weeks 4 days. 2nd pregnancy induced 37 weeks. 3rd pregnancy told doctors I wanted to try for natural birth but rejected idea. Will be giving birth at Kaiser Riverside. Budget is about $1200

Second baby, giving birth at Huntigton Pasadena, i plan to go unmedicated as long as possible. my budget is under 2,000.

Second daughter is arriving December 7th. We were unaware, until very recently, that Kaiser has Doula services within our benefits during the arrival of our first born in March 2025. So currently exploring and outreaching for consultations to be able to work with someone for birth prep, labor support, and post partum in person in Montebello California with delivery in Kaiser on Sunset in Los Angeles.

Giving birth at Kaiser Downey, birth plan is natural birth, and budget is flexible. I’d like to hire a double for advocacy during birth and post partum care.

Frist baby James I am looking for a daytime postpartum doula support following the recent arrival of my baby!:) I am hopping to finding someone to come 2 days out of the week for about 6 hours during the morning/ afternoon. at kaiser Permanente Riveride, i am planning on using my medical or my kaiser insurance i would like to have a smooth birth i do plan on getting the epidural but i have scoliosis and does not go well when the procedure is getting done, i would like to get help on information if i do not understand or if im out of it from medication

2nd baby planning to give birth at Hoag in Irvine. I am attempting to do a vbac. My husband will be taking care of our toddler so I would be alone during labor and hospital stay. We have Blue Shield Trio HMO so hoping it would cover cost of birth support. Besides that our budget is about 1200.
