I would like to give bith in a birthing center, but with my location I don't believe it would be in the cards. I want a quiet birth and I don't want to be rushed by anybody. I want to thoroughly discuss vaccination options and know exactly what it going into my baby. I am married and I want my husband to be heavily involved in the process. I also have Elhers Danlos Syndrome, so there may be some special circumstances. This is my first pregnancy and I'm not quite sure what to do or where I should go for the best care.

Midwives/home births aren't covered under my insurance plan, but I would so much rather give birth at home than at a hospital, so I'm comparing my options! Considering trying to get pre-clearance/exception with insurance (because the "covered" birth center is 2 hours away) if that's something you'd be able to help with as well. I'm in Colorado Springs, right near downtown!

Hello, I am having to give birth in a hospital, but I want to have my baby natural. My doctor wanted me to have another c section but I told her I wanted to give my body a chance. I have a 3 year old and my husband as my family and that is it. We don’t have any other support. My birth plan is to labor at home as much as possible and then go to St. Francis when it’s the right time. I am not sure what my budget is, but I am open to whatever.
