First baby at 37 years old, Kaiser, husband needs education

We're having our third baby and hoping for first homebirth! I've had 2 fast labors (5 hours and 4 hours) and among other reasons am hopeful to find a homebirth midwife that we love! Currently 9 weeks pregnant, due May 2027.

I am looking to find a doula and a midwife for my potential VBAC, it is a short interpregnancy interval of 13 months but I am working with a wonderful provider (OB) at PSL. I am also looking for a night nanny/doula for my newborn so that my husband and I can get our sleep and recover that first month. I plan to give birth at PSL with Dr. Breeden. Attempting a VBAC after first was a c section. I had an elective c section and I think that caused a lot of the issues. Made it to 6.5 cm dilation and I gave up and asked for a cesarean after a few days of labor.

12 weeks along! Looking for a midwife for a home birth! I currently live in Vail, but plan on moving to gypsum next year before the baby is born. I am a Christian and would love a woman of faith if possible.

Midwives/home births aren't covered under my insurance plan, but I would so much rather give birth at home than at a hospital, so I'm comparing my options! Considering trying to get pre-clearance/exception with insurance (because the "covered" birth center is 2 hours away) if that's something you'd be able to help with as well. I was under the impression that Vail had a birthing center, but turns out it's just hospital rooms. 😕 I've had a home birth with my last one and would prefer a similar experience. I also have Anthem insurance if anyone takes that!
