My journey into the world of maternal support was deeply personal and transformative. My son, my baby boy Jahsiah was diagnosed with Hepatoblastoma just as I had booked my calendar for the year, I was faced the immense challenge of balancing my professional and personal life. This experience underscored the importance of having a trusted support system during life's most vulnerable moments. Leveraging my personal journey, I established Village to Village Doulas to provide unparalleled support to local Doulas and parents navigating the complexities of childbirth and early parenthood.

I am a queer traditional multiracial Afroindígena full-spectrum community BirthKeeper, artist, fur mama, auntie, lover, ancestral healer & activist located on Coast Salish land, Point Elliott & Medicine Creek Treaty Territory (Seattle, WA). I come from the Maya Ch’ortí, Lenca, and Garífuna/Garínagu Indigenous & Afroindigenous peoples of Honduras through my father’s side. I also carry Northwestern European heritage, namely German, Celtic & Norwegian. My birthwork is deeply rooted in my spiritual practice through my Mesoamerican and Afro-Caribbean upbringing. I believe that birth is a sacred ceremony and rite of passage, and it is a true honor to support you and your family throughout all stages of this journey. I primarily serve our Indigenous and Black communities, and am welcoming of all gender identities and immigration statuses.

I am a birth doula, photographer, and childbirth educator serving the Puget Sound area. I love providing parents with compassionate support and evidence based resources. I first felt called to serve mothers and babies when I began instructing perinatal yoga classes and birth preparation workshops, and then became a mother myself. I journeyed with birthing families and witnessed their transformation into parenthood. I felt the support and connection from other parents as I lived my own profound transformation. Later, I completed the DONA International Postpartum Doula training through the Simkin Center at Bastyr University, and then became a certified postpartum doula. My approach is to mother the mother so she can heal and regain her energy, and enjoy bonding with her baby. I offer traditional Asian postpartum care and cooking if my clients desire. My aim is to empower parents to trust their own instincts and parent the way they want.

I specialize in postpartum support, overnight newborn care, and home systems organization. My goal is to help you feel confident, cared for, and well-rested during this tender chapter. Whether it’s soothing baby through a night feed, preparing a nourishing meal, or simply being a calm presence—It’s an honor to walk alongside families as they grow. I’d love to support yours. Due to my role as an infant teacher her, I’m currently unavailable Monday-Friday indefinitely. However, I hold space for daytime doula support on the weekends.

I love my job! Supporting parents through labor, birth and postpartum is amazing, and rewarding, and what I feel called to do. I am a birth and postpartum doula, as well as a childbirth educator and a lactation educator. Having an understanding of your options is a big part of preventing birth trauma. Educating parents about how they can better navigate their labor and the medical system is a big part of what I do. I support folks emotionally, physically, with information/resources, and with advocacy (and photo documentation of their labor). We usually have some fun too!
