Hi my name is Bailey, and I’m a pediatric RN with 2.5 years of experience as a nurse and an additional 10+ years of childcare experience. I’ve been babysitting since I was a teenager, and have years of experience caring for children. I’m currently in between nursing jobs and looking for jobs on the side. I just spent 6 months on a pediatric unit along with regularly floating to the NICU. Since I loved working with infants in the NICU, I thought an infant overnight care job may be a good fit for me. My name is Jordan Towns and I have served the role as an Emotional Support Coach/Companion for over two decades to women and men encountering a full range of life encounters. It was in Spring 2023 that my journey to become a Doula was initiated and what a journey indeed it has been. Marked by my strong ancestral roots and divine gifting coupled with an experience that allowed me to grow deeper in tune with my body as a woman and what it means to be empowered and supported in my connection to it, I moved to become a Birth Doula and completed my formal training with Doulas of North America International in the “Art of Labor Support.” Now I have the honor of providing continuous, culturally appropriate support, non-medical advice, and physical comfort coaching to women and their partners during pregnancy, the birth ceremony, and the adjustment period after. It is this support that is critical to counter systemic medical racism and socioeconomic barriers that families face. Prinscilla Moore CPD CLE CNPE, is the founder of Delighted to Doula Birth Services. For as long as she can remember, supporting and educating families has been her passion. Prinscilla believes all families should be properly educated and equipped with the knowledge and tools they need in preparation for postpartum and infant care. Prinscilla is a wife, mother of four beautiful girls, and a grandmother. Prinscilla decided to pursue her passion professionally by becoming a doula. Prinscilla completed doula training for birth, postpartum, lactation education, and new parent education through Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (“CAPPA”). Since 2012, Prinscilla has been servicing families in Michigan, California, and now Texas. In 2015, she became a Certified Health Connect One community-based breastfeeding peer counselor and was handpicked to be a doula trainer and Advisory Board member for the Black Mothers Breastfeeding Association in Detroit, Michigan. She was recently selected to attend the Training of Trainers course from the March of Dimes on Health Disparities Concentrated on Racial Disparities in Infant Mortality and Adverse Birth Outcomes. I spent the first few years of life in a household with my maternal grandmother, learning first hand what it means to care for and nurture a woman. For over 15 years, I have been working with women, as they journey through what it takes to become pregnant, sustain pregnancy, care for a new life and grieve through pregnancy or infant loss. I am a doula and a yoga practitioner in Frisco and the Dallas-Forth Worth Metroplex, and I have a Masters of Arts in Physical Activity and Health from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in Bavaria, Germany. I like to say that I was born in Canada, I grew up in Germany, and now, I am raising my own family in Frisco, Texas.
