Hello 🧡 My name is Priscilla and I am bilingual in spanish. I majored in Human Services with the intention of assisting mothers. I am also trauma informed. Having a Bachelors led me into becoming a certified Lactation Counselor. Hearing my mothers stories from their birth trauma, experiences within the medical system, has led me to receive my doula certification in order to be a better asset to service my families. I decided to take the Doula workshop under DONA due hearing my previous prenatal and postpartum clients stories. My desire is to come along families in order to assist them with the birth they desire from providing information and support for their birth journey. I have six years being in the home visiting program (my career), over a decade in the mental health space and currently working towards my International Board Certification Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification.

Hello! I’m Joselyn, a proud mom who chose home births for my two little ones. Let's look back at my life before motherhood when the idea of childbirth intimidated me more than anything, thanks to all those stories and dramatic TV shows with women screaming their heads off in the delivery room. When I became pregnant with my daughter back in 2020, I dove into research, preparing my mind, body, and spirit for a positive birth—but I completely overlooked planning for postpartum and felt quite overwhelmed. Wanting to enhance my skills, I completed a 112-hour training with Bebo Mia Inc. and became certified with Pro Doula to become a full-spectrum doula. My journey also led me to explore the rich traditions of Mexican indigenous birth and postpartum practices, allowing me to honor my heritage while expanding my knowledge.

Hi, I’m Maribel, a DONA International-certified birth doula and birth photographer based in Irvine, serving Orange County and select surrounding communities in South Los Angeles County/South Bay, the western Inland Empire, and North County San Diego. I didn’t always know what a doula was. I found this work because I needed that kind of support myself, and experiencing what it felt like to have someone calm, familiar, and fully in my corner changed the way I understood birth. Eventually, it changed the direction of my work too. Today, I try to offer families that same sense of steadiness and connection. Before labor, we build a relationship and practice tools so the day feels more familiar. During birth, I adapt to what you need: hands-on comfort, positioning, breathing and relaxation, experience with different tools, a softer ambiance for relaxation, partner coaching, and support around informed decisions. I am especially intentional about partners; my role is to support them, not take their place, so they can spend less energy wondering what to do and more energy simply being your partner. After birth, I stay connected with early postpartum care for the families whose births I attend, including emotional, educational, and practical support within my scope. Photography comes from my love of real-life storytelling. Birth is so absorbing that there are parts of your own story you may not get to see while you are living them: the looks, the gestures, or the small moments surrounding the first time you meet your baby. My documentary approach is quiet and unobtrusive, preserving those pieces so you can return to them later. Birth photography may be booked on its own or woven into doula care. My broader full-spectrum doula work also includes standalone abortion support, pregnancy loss, and infant loss support. Hi there! My name is Chloe, I am a mama to one and I am very passionate about birth work. I love being able to help support families on their journey to becoming parents. Birth is so special, and transformative, I feel truly honored when I am invited to help support families in their sacred space.

*Currently on maternity leave for the remainder of 2026* Birth and babies are my passions. I started the journey to becoming a birth doula shortly after having my second baby, Colton. My first and second births were completely night and day. My first baby, Caleb, was an incredibly long and strenuous labor; a total of 72 hours. With my second, however, I was only in labor for a total of 25 hours, which still is very long, but not by comparison. I owe a lot of that to my amazing birth team I had for my second birth, which included a midwife and doula support, and the education I gained throughout my pregnancy on how to prepare my body for birth. I believe in a holistic approach to birth. I don't think birth should be treated as a medical emergency until proven that it needs to be. Birth is a natural, beautiful thing, and while modern medicine absolutely has its place, I don't think it automatically belongs in every birth space. That said, I support every way to give birth, because in the end you're the only one in control. If you want an epidural, membrane sweep, Pitocin, all the drugs, I will absolutely support your decision. Or if you want to deny all cervical checks, do intermittent monitoring, and have your baby in the tub, that's great by me too! My priority as your doula would be to give you access to all the information you need to make well informed choices and give you the support you need to make your birth experience exactly what you want
