My name is Breana. I am a mother of two, a Certified Doula, a Childbirth and Lactation Educator, a Placenta Encapsulation Specialist, and a student Midwife. My passion for birth work was sparked by my own transformative experience giving birth to my first son. I have a profound respect for physiological birth and its many nuances. I have supported families in a variety of Birth settings, giving me insight into holistic and medical support strategies. With a focus on prenatal care, holistic practices, advocacy, and evidence-based knowledge, I hope to empower my clients with the tools and support they need to navigate labor and birth confidently. Hi there, I’m Becky and have been working with new families since 2016 as a doula and parent educator in the Los Angeles, Ca and surrounding communities. I truly believe the support of a new mother starts during pregnancy and through the first year postpartum. I am a first generation Latinx woman and use the pronouns She/Her/Ella. I primarily grew up in Whittier, CA, but spend several years in Nayarit, Mexico. I am married with 3 beautiful children of my own. I hope I can help you plan for the best birth and postpartum period imaginable.

After my son's birth, I was reeling from how well my birth journey went. I heard so many horror stories from friends and family about how their birthing days went. I was appalled for them. Most were pushed around by hospital staff, forced into unnecessary c-sections or just completely unaware of what options they had! I became determined to be an advocate for women who want to feel validated and that they can birth the way they choose. I want to be able to provide a beautiful experience, to anyone who desires it. Having my son empowered me to help other women have the birth of their dreams. I strive for a smooth, calm process, free from stress, judgement and fear. Whether it be at home, a birth center or hospital, all natural, medicated or planned c-sections, I believe that women should be able to do things their own way. Because each and every woman, birth and baby is different, I take pride in supporting you, however you choose to proceed. I am Ashley and I am a certified doula and Certified Professional Midwife. As a doula my main goal with all of my clients is to better educate you on your pregnancy on not only childbirth but the the physiological changes of pregnancy, movements, food, and exercises that heal the common discomforts brought about by those changes. My goal is to help you be your best self in pregnancy so when labor comes you feel confident and strong in the body the brings you your baby and continues to take care of you after that baby grows for the next 18 years.

A calling that has been nurtured for 32 years. I began my career with children as a teenage babysitter. I have been fascinated by child development since I was little more than a child myself. Arriving in the USA in 1991 from Barranquilla, Colombia I was immediately employed by Universal Studios Child Care Center. This experience offered a wide range of infants to care for and deepened my desire to advance in my calling as a childcare specialist. It was in my interactions with various parents that I soon realized how what came naturally to me was frightening to some. In a very short time, parents were asking me to provide services outside of the care center. I was helping with establishing baby sleep schedules, nighttime care and creating baby routines for families. In 1998 I had met my birthing doula trainer and mentor Carmen of Gyntle Touch Birth. At Carmen’s recommendation I also became a certified massage therapist from Touch Therapy Institute. Immediately I offered my time as a birthing and prenatal doula to help low-income unwed mothers. This was my way of giving back in gratitude of my being able to pursue my life’s purpose and obtain a vast amount of experience with a diverse group of mothers. Over the last 32 years I have worked with hundreds of families, from birthing babies, preparing hospital care routines and directives, setting up nursery supplies, prenatal doula, lactation coach, night care, postpartum care, pregnancy and baby massage. Along the way I married and was blessed to deliver my own two children, with my mentor Carmen presiding as my birthing doula. A not so well-kept secret is that my husband and I are gourmet chefs, an additional service many families are excited to have made available to them. I consider myself truly blessed in that I am able to share in the most important part of a family. Incredibly, many of the children I have had a hand in raising continue to contact me throughout their life. I have had the wonderfully good fortune to attend many, confirmations, bar & bat mitzvahs, graduations from elementary, Jr. High, High School, College and recently my first Graduate school ceremony. I respect privacy and discretion, am able to travel, provide meal preparation and offer household management services.

I live in OC with my three amazing children! If I’m not at a birth, you will find us at the beach surfing, playing, and enjoying the outdoors. I fell in love with all things birth when I became pregnant with my 1st child in 2008. As an avid reader and researcher, I made it my goal to learn everything I possibly could about the biology and physiology of birth, and how to have optimal health during and after pregnancy for both me and my baby. Like many first-time moms I have worked with, I had hesitations about giving birth to my 1st baby outside of a hospital setting. After all my research, classes, and conversations with midwives, I gained confidence in aiming for an unmedicated birthing experience. I found some lovely midwifes who had a midwifery ward in a hospital and gave birth to my 1st son unmedicated. Twenty-four hours of intense back labor from a posterior-positioned baby …but, I did it! My body actually did it! After birthing my first, statistically knowing it was the most challenging and longest labor, gave me confidence to choose home births for my second and third children. I had a successful home water birth with my second child and wanted to repeat that with my third. However, while laboring on the toilet with him, I suddenly dropped to my knees when he began to crown, and he became known as my bathroom floor “butter birth” baby :). Though I chose unmedicated births for myself, I do know it is not for everyone, which is more than OK! I quickly learned from my role as a doula that every woman’s body, medical history, and background are uniquely different. Many factors play into choosing the right birth for you. I am here to come alongside you, help you make an informed decision, and then support you every step of the way. I offer very personable and compassionate care. My approach is non-agenda-based, trauma-informed, and holistic-minded. No matter your history or past experiences, I am here to be a safe place for you. Hello, I’m Vashti. When I’m not helping mommas have their babies I’m enjoying mine. My husband and I are born and raised in Los Angeles County. I dream of raising a house full of kids that can grow up together. When I had my two babies, I knew I wanted to attempt the natural route, and natural I went. My baby girl was born at home in 2023, and my baby boy was born at a birth center in 2025. Having experienced birth in such sweet and different ways, I decided how in love with the birth experience I was. I knew many birth story’s that were expressed as bad, and my hearts desire was to become to those mommas a redemptive roadmap back into the birth world, and to new mommas, a roadmap where a bad birth experience wasn’t in their story - So I became a birth doula. My heart in the birth world as a Christian certified Doula is to remind mothers that they were created for such a miraculous work and are so much more capable of birth then they realize.
