Hello I'm Sarah, a birth and postpartum doula in Los Angeles and founder of Ever Wilde Doula. I support families through pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum period. I’m very passionate about helping parents navigate the modern maternity system and understanding their options in a non-biased way, providing trauma-informed support, promoting individualized care and centering the birthing parent in their care. In addition to my doula work, I am also a certified perinatal patient advocate and am well equipped to speak to my client's providers on their behalf to convey their wishes and advocate for their informed consent. Welcome! My name is Rose, and I'm a certified birth doula. I will accompany you in your pregnancy, labor and postpartum journey. I provide assistance during pregnancy and labor by giving parents the necessary information they need to make informed decisions about their care. I provide newborn assistance, information on childbirth education, breastfeeding, lactation and postpartum support. As a community doula I believe in healing the body. The reason many women do not heal during postpartum is because there are still many toxins trapped in their bodies that prevent them from healing. I work with mothers at whatever stage of emotional and physical support they need and provide them with the resources they need to feel empowered throughout this journey. I believe in holistic healing, ayurveda, essential oils, aromatherapy & yoga. I have lived in Taiwan and South Korea and have learned about traditional healing methods. My experience includes working with women from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds. This includes women who have experienced pregnancy loss, abortions, trauma and high-risk IVF procedures. I also speak Spanish and work with the Spanish speaking community. I hold a Master's Degree in Education and a Certified Birth Doula certification. I really enjoy teaching couples and enhancing their knowledge about pregnancy & labor. Unlike other doulas, I bring a strong background in healthcare working in acute hospitals in the nursing department. Although I am not a nurse, my background includes ER, ICU, medicine & surgery, mental health, rehabilitation, post rehab and sub-acute units. I am also trained as a medication technician which allows me to understand the different types of medications that are given to patients in hospitals. I’ve been a doula for as long as I’ve been a mother, my oldest will be 20 this October. traditionally trained from a young age. . My lactation work spans the full clinical spectrum—from establishing breastfeeding in the immediate postpartum period to managing complex feeding challenges such as low milk supply, delayed lactogenesis, post-cesarean lactation, and infants with dysregulated feeding patterns. My intention is to teach women to know and understand their worth and individuality by providing them hope and confidence in themselves.
