RV is an organizer, artist, and care worker who is curious about what holds us together. They weave disability justice and somatics into everything they do, which now includes supporting birthing people! RV just completed their coursework to become a doula, and they are seeking potential clients to support through their births. RV accompanies people through moments of transformation and crisis so that you can move through it with support and dignity. Too often, people are left to tend to their bodies and needs in isolation, which only makes things harder. RV works to weave in practices that strengthen community bonds, encourage people to lean on each other, and ground in the certainty that we are all deserving of care, no matter how beautifully complex our needs might be.

Birth Plan

This package includes 4 pre-natal visits, where we will develop your birth plan together, support during labor, and 1 post-natal visit.

$1,000 USD · Flat rate

Birth Plan & Care Plan

This package includes 4 pre-natal visits, where we will develop your birth plan and care plan together, support during labor, and 3 post-natal visits. Your care plan includes talking through what support you will need after giving birth and tapping in your community to help offer this support. Asking for help can be overwhelming, so if you need support in that area, choose this package!

What to expect

I work with birthing people and their support system to prepare for birth. This includes a number of pre-natal visits where we will create a birth plan and a care plan for after birth. Together, we will talk through the support you need and make a plan to ensure you are set up as best as possible before going into labor. I attend births to support birthing people. I bring our birth plan, help make sure your questions get answered, and support your advocacy while you are in labor. This includes helping you navigate different birthing positions, supporting you with adjusting your birth plan in real time (should it become necessary), and ensuring you feel centered and cared for throughout the process. After birth, I complete post-natal visits to help ensure you are settled in at home and to help you integrate what happened during labor. This includes reviewing your birth story, and listening to you process the experience.
