About me

Hi! My name is Rylee, and I’m a BSN-prepared Registered Nurse with over 5 years of childcare experience. I’ve cared for children of all ages, including newborns, infants, and toddlers, and have experience managing multiple children at once. I currently work as an RN on a respiratory/telemetry medical-surgical unit and am BLS certified. During nursing school, I completed clinical rotations in Pediatrics, Labor & Delivery, and the NICU, giving me additional hands-on experience with newborns and children. I especially enjoy newborn and infant care and am interested in daytime or overnight opportunities. I’m comfortable with feeding, diapering, soothing, sleep routines, and providing attentive overnight care. Services can include overnight feedings, diaper changes, soothing and settling, bottle preparation and cleaning, maintaining sleep and feeding routines, and general newborn care throughout the night. Newborn Evening Relief

Give yourself a few hours to rest, recharge, or take care of yourself while your newborn receives attentive, nurturing care. This service is designed for families who don’t need a full overnight shift but would benefit from extra support during the evening. Care is tailored to your baby’s normal feeding, sleep, and nighttime routine. What hours are you available for overnight care?

Overnight shifts are typically 8–12 hours. Start and end times are flexible and can be arranged based on your family’s needs and my availability.

Do you currently work as a Registered Nurse?

Yes! I currently work part-time as a bedside Registered Nurse on a respiratory/telemetry medical-surgical unit. Because I work part-time, my availability for newborn care varies around my hospital schedule, but I’m happy to coordinate both recurring and occasional overnight care with families in advance.

Do you have references?

Absolutely! I can provide trusted references from families I’ve previously provided childcare for upon request. I understand how important it is to feel completely comfortable with the person caring for your newborn, and I’m happy to provide references before booking.

What experience do you have with newborns?

I have over 5 years of childcare experience, including hands-on care with newborns and infants. I’m also a BSN-prepared Registered Nurse and completed clinical rotations in the NICU, Labor & Delivery, and Pediatrics, where I gained additional experience caring for newborns, infants, and children.

What does a typical overnight shift look like?

I take over your baby’s nighttime routine so you can get much-needed rest. Depending on your baby’s needs, I can handle feedings, diaper changes, burping, soothing and settling, bottle preparation and cleaning, and tracking feeds, diapers, and sleep. In the morning, I’ll give you an update on how the night went.

Can you provide overnight care if I’m breastfeeding?

Absolutely! When it’s time for baby to nurse, I can bring them to you for the feeding and then take over afterward with burping, diapering, soothing, and settling them back to sleep. My goal is to help you maximize your rest while continuing the feeding routine that works best for you and your baby.

Will you follow our baby’s routine and preferences?

Absolutely. Every baby and family is different, so I’ll follow your preferred feeding, sleep, soothing, and nighttime routines while prioritizing safe newborn care. I want my care to fit naturally into what already works best for your family.
