Hello! I am a Licensed Midwife (LM) and a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) proudly serving families through compassionate, holistic, homebirth care. Located in the heart of Fort Worth, Texas, I serve a 90-mile radius of “Cowtown.” Having had a homebirth practice previously in Abilene and San Angelo, Texas, I have a strong background in rural birth. Through my work, I work to prove that birth is not just a physical event- it’s a profoundly sacred, transformative journey. My heart is to walk alongside you with wisdom, gentleness, and strength as you welcome your baby into the world, right in the comfort and safety of your own home. With years of hands-on experience and a deep respect for the physiological process of birth, I offer care that is evidence-based, deeply personal, and grounded in trust. My approach to midwifery is rooted in respect for your body and your choices- including strong, informed support for those searching for a trial of labor after a cesarean and hoping for a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean). Birth is not a one-size-fits-all experience, and I’m here to ensure your voice is central in every decision.

Service introduction

I offer preconception, prenatal, labor, and birth, postpartum care, and newborn care in your home. A specialize in rural Homebirth, but currently live in Fort Worth and serve a 90 mile radius. Lab work is done at your appointment with no need to go to another office. Ultrasounds are done in an atmosphere that gives time for questions and photos without feeling rushed. Birth tubs are supplied as well as supplies. I perform all normal newborn care for babies up to six weeks of age.

Monitrice Care
Love the idea of midwifery care, but would prefer a hospital birth? If you’re low risk then this is the package for you! While you see an OB to be an established patient, you can also have midwifery prenatal visits that last an hour each visit so that you can ask all your questions and try to get a holistic approach at preparing for a natural childbirth. This also includes early labor support in your home, helping you to know when to go to the hospital, as well as following along with you for the rest of your labor in hospital and providing immediate postpartum care. You’ll receive two postpartum visits as well as newborn care with this package. It’s a great way to test out midwifery care! Should you decide that you want to switch mid-pregnancy and have a Homebirth, your fees will be applied to the balance of the homebirth.
