My approach to pregnancy, labor, and birth is grounded in compassion, encouragement, and respect for you and your choices. I view birth as a sacred and powerful experience that should be honored and supported in whatever way feels right for you. My role is to walk alongside you and your family, offering continuous emotional, physical, and informational support. What to expect

I offer (2) prenatal visits where we will go over your birth wishes and preferences, review any previous births, brief education on the stages of labor, introduce comfort measures, the role of your partner, what to pack in your hospital bag, coping tools, and discuss informed consent. From weeks 37-41 I am on-call 24/7. Once labor has begun or delivery day has arrived, I will meet you at the agreed upon location and I will remain with you until after baby has arrived. Around 6 weeks postpartum, we will have another meeting that will allow us to go over the details of your labor and birth, check in on breastfeeding progress (if you choose to do so), and assist with any information that you may find helpful.
