✨ Hi friends! I’m Jess (she/her) — a queer birth & postpartum doula based in the Bay Area. I grew up around birth and babies (shoutout to my nurse mom!) and fell in love with supporting new parents early on. After seeing so many of my friends navigate birth and postpartum without the support they deserved and needed, I knew this was the work I was meant to do. I offer care that’s supportive, inclusive, and centered on you—your values, your vision, and your unique journey into parenthood. If you’re pregnant, postpartum, or just dreaming about building your family someday, I’d love to support you. 💛

I couldn't have done it without her! While I was pregnant, especially as my due date approached, Mama T checked in on me more than my family. We talked about my birth plan, options, sounds, snacks, scents, and what to expect. I had complete trust in her. Her calm demeanor had me entering into my labor with confidence. During labor, she stayed present with me and went through each contraction reminding me it was only a minute...I could do it! During the postpartum period, she was essential as well. I didn't have family close so see continued to check on me and the baby, coaching me through new parent jitters. I highly recommend Therese and really feel I couldn't have done it without her.

Hi! My name is Amanda, and I’m a postpartum doula passionate about supporting families during the precious (and sometimes overwhelming) early days after birth. I have over seven years of hands-on experience caring for newborns and helping new parents feel confident and supported as they adjust to life with a baby. Whether it’s newborn care, helping with feeding (breast or bottle), creating a smoother daily routine, light meal prep, or just making sure you get some much-needed rest—I’m here to help however I can. I’m also all about creating a warm, judgment-free space where you can ask questions, express how you’re feeling, and feel truly cared for during this tender season. If you’re looking for someone kind, reliable, and experienced to walk alongside you during the postpartum journey, I’d love to chat and see how I can support your family. Feel free to reach out—I’m currently available and would love to connect!

I am a wife, mother, educator, and doula. I love the challenge and beauty of birth. I have decided to follow my passion and calling in life as a birth doula. It is so important that families feel supported, respected, and cared for as they welcome their child(ren) to the world. In addition, those first few weeks after the birth are very tender, emotional, and draining. I want to help lead my clients to positive transitions into parenthood. This happens when we work as a team and collaborate on what makes a healthy birth and postpartum experience for YOU.

My journey started when I finished my studies in early childhood education in Brazil and worked with children of all ages including children with emotional and behavioral disorders. One day I had a opportunity to help my friend on her postpartum and I felt so helpful and happy to give her the love and support she needed. After that I immersed myself in the world of motherhood, I felt so passionate and became a postpartum doula. I also had the amazing experience when I had my own sunshine boy, and being a mother is so unique and wonderful but also very challenging. Today I am so accomplished to do my job as a postpartum doula! I know the importance of having a Doula to help, and support a mother and family in their pre-birth, delivery and also in the difficulties encountered in the postpartum journey.

With over seven years of experience caring for babies and children as a caregiver, I have always felt called to nurture, support, and uplift families during life's most tender moments. Ever since stepping foot in the postpartum care world, I found my passion and truly fell in love. As a doula, I offer gentle, hands-on support to new mothers and their families during the sacred postpartum period. My care is rooted not only in deep compassion and intuition, but also in the latest evidence-based practices and research in postpartum care, infant development, and maternal health. My philosophy is that when science and heart come together, families feel more confident, supported, and empowered. I show up with a calm presence, knowledge, and unconditional care.

Originally from Liverpool, England and now living in Marin County, California, I am the mum of 6 beautiful children and a grandma to one. Each and every birth was unique, whether it was at home, a birthing centre, or in a hospital. The level of prenatal and postpartum care I received, definitely impacted my birth experience and I really feel every mum should feel safe and in control of her choices, as much as she can when she is going through one of the most unique and special moments in their life. I love supporting other parents on their journey, whether it be for advice, support or just to chat about what's to come. Feeling prepared makes for a much easier birth journey :) I trained with Doula Trainings international as a birth and postpartum doula. I have been a volunteer with the Postpartum Support Center through the Marin Diaper Bank and now as a facilitator for the ROSE program. When not supporting families you will find me looking after my granddaughter, walking my dog, hiking, or enjoying friend and family time.

Having Katherine’s support during the first six weeks with my premature baby was truly invaluable. My little one struggled with reflux, and Katherine’s patience and expertise made a huge difference. She took great care in holding my baby upright for 30 minutes after each feeding, which helped tremendously. Her knowledge, gentle approach, and reliability provided a great sense of reassurance. I’m incredibly grateful for her help and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any family in need of newborn care.

Hi! I’m a mom of two boys, a wife, and a professionally trained postpartum doula living in beautiful Marin County, California. My passion for helping mothers during the postpartum period sprang from my own postpartum experience with my first child. I focused so much attention and preparation on my pregnancy and birth that when it came time to take care of my new baby, I was completely overwhelmed. I felt alone, isolated and in over my head. Had I had a compassionate and skilled postpartum doula come into my home to help me process my birth story, help me feed my baby, and allow me to rest and recover properly, my postpartum period would have been so much easier— perhaps even enjoyable! The first six weeks after giving birth is a vulnerable time for new mothers. They need just as much love, attention and support as their new babies— which isn’t a concept that is widely embraced in our society. That is where I can step in and bridge the gap of care for moms and families. I provide a listening ear without judgement, a second set of hands, and evidence-based resources and referrals so families can thrive in the fourth trimester.

Nara Lima was my postpartum doula from the very first night I came home from the hospital through my baby’s first three months, and I truly cannot recommend her enough. She took exceptional care of both me as a new mom and my baby, always anticipating our needs with warmth, knowledge, and calm confidence. Her support made the postpartum period feel manageable, supported, and deeply cared for. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have Nara by their side during such a tender time.
