About Sara

Hi there, my name is Sara and I am a certified birth and postpartum doula with an M.A. in Early Childhood Development. I have been providing compassionate care for babies, children and adults for over 20 years. My love for helping others has helped me gain valuable experience as a teacher, youth treatment specialist, nanny, mentor, wellness/life coach, and a caregiver for individuals with specials needs. I am also currently working on my yoga teacher certification and studying herbalism. I am dedicated to providing compassionate care and guidance to parents and families; helping them to feel supported and empowered through out their pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum journey.

Sara provided doula services for me during my pregnancy and birth. She was very kind, patient and listened to me when i expressed my personal needs. She worked hard to provide me a safe and quiet place during labor. The way she advocated for me is something I truly missed out on during my previous pregnancy. She brought so many goodies, essential oils, honey sticks and provided plenty of massages. She just knew what i needed and it really helped to have her there. When i think back to the birth of my son i can hear her voice reassuring me through the process, so nurturing and affirming!

Sara helped us take care of our 6 week old daughter. She was looking after my child during the nights. In the first few days itself, I aligned my preferences with Sara - and she also gave me a few tips. She was awake at night taking care of my daughter and would manage the process very well. We got super comfortable with her very quickly. Thanks to Sara I was able to get peaceful night's sleep, and even managed to step out of home a few times.
