Home visits & virtual visits, discussing birth plan and birth expectations. Discussing prenatal nutrition, nausea, and pain relief. Support and evidence based advice regarding birth.

Birth Doula 36weeks+

At home and virtual visits. Immediately on call and reachable, from time of hire, ready for whenever baby comes! Constant communication and unlimited support and evidence based advice. Attending birth, giving support, using skills for pain relief and keeping mom on base with what’s happening. Upmost respect and grace when baby arrives, answering your questions and giving space

What to expect

Provide emotional, physical, and educational support throughout pregnancy & during the first year after. This support becomes continuous during labor and birth. • Helps develop a birth plan • Provides prenatal education • Plans for the logistics of labor, birth and postpartum • Joins the birthing person during labor • Use hands-on techniques to relieve pain during labor • Suggests birthing positions and coping strategies • Provides advocacy during labor and birth • Supports the birthing partner • Gives postpartum care • Postpartum visits for basic newborn care • Provides emotional postpartum support
