My husband will be home with me the first month or so, so looking for a daytime, postpartum doula two or three days a week for 3 hours at a time starting in mid/late November for one month or so. -hoping for full coverage through Maryland BCBS -giving birth at AAMC Luminis health hospital in Annapolis -looking for a doula. Meetings can be virtual prior to labor. I'm mostly looking for support prior to labor -I am VERY pro medicine and see doctors and nurses as the core of my care team. I need a doula who will advocate, but my philosophy is that the doctor is the one to trust and I don't want blurred boundaries. I honestly mostly want the support leading up to birth.
