Hello, I’m Shelby. I’m a certified Postpartum Doula and newborn nanny located in Austin, Texas. I have been working with children for over 10 years and have been exclusively supporting families through postpartum for 4 years. I am also a CPR/First Aid instructor and remote psychology student concentrating on child development. It’s important to me that children get the highest quality of care, and I use my background to foster their physical, emotional, and social development.

Postpartum Doula services

The American Council of Obstetrics and Gynecologists (ACOG) has identified the vulnerable postpartum period as a time when opportunities exist for better care and monitoring. There is an outstanding “gap” between birth and bringing baby home. My services are complex and dynamic because the needs of families transitioning between birth to postpartum (and beyond!) are complex and dynamic. I offer exceptional newborn care, household support, pediatric First Aid/CPR training, baby care education, and mental health support. With doula support, families can take comfort knowing there is help available from an experienced and trained professional. Hiring a doula can provide a sense of peace, security, and structure during an intense time of change.
