I feel being an instructor with DC Lamaze is the best part-time job I've ever had! I enjoy giving expectant families an educational, interactive, and balanced approach to learning in my two day hybrid Lamaze Prepared Childbirth Classes in Wash. DC. I do my best to keep current with changes in birth practices, like to sprinkle my classes with a bit of humor, and make sure to leave time for practice sessions and questions. I am a school teacher full time and reside in Bowie, MD with my family.

Hybrid 2 Day Class
Enjoy a 2 day hybrid Lamaze Class! Beyond the breathing, you will learn current, evidence based information, and proven strategies to get through the trials of labor with confidence! Questions still? Get a free 1-on-1 Zoom meet 2 weeks later! Classes occur once a month. (Fri. online from 6:30-9:30 pm and Sat. from 9:15 am - 2:15 pm.)

On Demand Refresher & Sibling Class!
Trying to fit a refresher childbirth class into your busy schedule? Enjoy some time preparing for your special “birth” day with a fun, informative, On-Demand Lamaze Class! You and your support person will learn all that is normally offered in a private class, but at the group class cost! This package includes two videos (about 2 hours each) and a 45 min. follow-up visit with the instructor. Then, to help your firstborn, aged 3-13 yrs, prepare for the new arrival, schedule a private Super Duper Sibling Class that comes complete with a super hero mask and cape!

Super Duper Sibling Class
Prepare the "big kids" for the newest family member! This interactive private class for ages 3-13 covers: what newborns look like, the safe handling of babies, how babies "talk", feelings, and how to be a super-duper helper! Registrants will get, via mail, a hero mask & cape and more!
